  1. I'm always watching craigslist for parts, I live in pierce county, just south of you, so will definitely be able to catch something like that bumper/winch. I believe you can put a stolen parts alert on craigslist also. IIRC??
  2. DID you look at the armada? At least it's not a minivan on steroids...LOL congratulations on your new Nissan. Wait until you have the itch to go up a gravel road and get a scratch on it...ear muff a must....have fun and enjoy.
  3. Hey there Jim, sorry to hear your truck being stolen, NO matter what it sucks. I have watched the video of the time you got it back from wrecking yard. I'm not sure, but this kinda sounds like someone knew all about the pathfinder and that it was going to be unwatched. It might be someone who knows you has been talking about it and got heard about by the wrong person. Mite want to talk about it with those around you, they might find it through word of mouth. Same thing happened to me with my OLD Bronco, I got it back and the teenagers were caught. I'm not saying that it was any of your friends/family.just someone that shouldn't have been told about it OR something. Sure hope that they catch all the person's involved and get all your truck stuff returned. My deepest sympathy and prayers 4u
  4. Sorry, I missed that in the pictures, my bad, and yes you be looking good...
  5. When your father in law wants to drive your pathfinder because it looks like it would be fun.
  6. Use steel skids, saw a yota a few weeks ago that used aluminum skid plates and paid the price for the lite weight, ripped wide open and cracked his oil tank.
  7. I say it is time to get a good weed torch and burn away.
  8. Liquid tarps for sale at the local hardware store, its called Roundup...LOL
  9. I still have the stock brake lines and like adamzan have had no problems with them. The only thing I did was take a 3inch piece of bicycle bracket to keep the rear brake line slack. I'm cheap when I can. Just got into the odd parts drawer. A bolt here and there. Walla brake line extension...LOL
  10. Come on, be the adult you are and stop this stuff, all the bickering is going to do is get a bunch of good people upset, and then we loose what's the NPORA is, a great forum for the discussion of and exchanging information from like minded folks. Time for the piddly words to go away and focus placed back where it belongs, on people's problems and the advice or information that can be used to help or get help. IF you want to go on gripping then go into the off topic area and then make your own thread, and then those who want to can join your topic. It doesn't belong here where others like myself go to learn about the topic, even if we never chime in because we don't have anything to add that can be helpful, but if I have a question or comment, I don't think it should get overshadowed by someone else being upset with an individual. In the future for us that are trying to learn, take care of it in off topics please. Otherwise please don't say anything else unless it's about the current topic. Thanks again and GOD bless you.
  11. It's a good lift, I have it, was a easier install than I thought it would be, once it settles in and you get the alignment done, you'll be pretty happy, congrats.
  12. Semi truck noise is money to my ears, Ohhhhh that's right I drive one...LOL
  13. I think I would be interested in going that way if it was a lower mileage engine, with the engine in my own rig having almost 240k not sure if it would be a good investment at this time. I'm sure though, I will look into it once I get a low mileage create engine and newer/stronger transmission. Since the pathfinder is paid for I want it to last for a long time. So $300 will be worth the piece of mind I will get with the timing belt not braking.
  14. LOL I know what you mean, we just got our internet connection fixed at home, our alarm system was robbing all the band width. But hey at least you can get on here for information. And yea I'd be honored if you take it as a compliment..LOL I would have you email it to me, but I'm out here in the 18wheeler and the phone doesn't like to transfer pictures for some reason. Maybe one of our other friends at home can help you with your pictures? Stay safe while you cut and hack it up.
  15. Heck if you have found and can fix great...hope I was wrong above, was just an opinion based on my own rig.. hope you have a smooth ride.
  16. This is funnier than SNOT. We take rubber foam tape for weather stripping to every new semi truck we get and wrap all the doors and hood. It reduces the rattling and wind noise down to almost nothing. I did the same thing as above but did all the doors on the pathfinder also, only noise we get now comes thru they transfer case boot, and that needs to get replaced with a new set. It's a great and cheap fix...oh and it helps to keep the water out when crossing those deep mud puddles.
  17. Make sure that you get pictures posted, we need a good laugh time to time. I think you have a good biggest oops here...LOL hv fun with it.
  18. Yepper, no uca's bump stops, just bare metal. Well you have downward travel. LOL. Do you have any issues getting the alignment set with that setup? Looks like its very strong though.
  19. Junk yard and a can of interior paint to match or black.
  20. Really surprised that no one has created a timing belt conversion to a chain, or some kind of gear drive timing. I know that if a v8 can get these types of timing sets, so should our v6 . I'm of the opinion that these engines could be running around strong at 500k if belts were eliminated. Imho that is, IF I had the time and tool shop I would have to create a new setup for all our timing upgrades. I hope you have taken the belt back and procured the correct one without having to jump through hoops. WE all feel your pain. good luck with the fix..
  21. Idea number two, after rereading the problem, get a farm tractor with bucket and some ratcheting straps,or winch device. Lift the rear up and ratchet it down to the back side of bucket slowly lift up, then just push it into the shop. You still will need to steer the pathfinder though. Have fun with it....LOL
  22. Flat bed time...drag it on, and away to shop you go..
