  1. A cooler from Nissan Titan are excellent at dispersing heat, I have one from an 04 titan with tow package as stock option. My transmission rarely runs hotter than 175deg. I replaced it in place of the stock one. I also run trans fluid at one part Lucas trans fluid to nine parts Nissan compatible sin/blend fluid. Transmission shifts very smooth and very little noise notable.my 95 has 234000 on it. Before I got the new cooler the truck had a electric fan with thermo sswitch and a toggle switch in cab so I could turn it on,off at my choice just like my semi truck has set up.
  2. heck, the alarm on my 95 goes off at the slightest movement, had to pull the horn relay or pull battery post. I can't seem to find the fuse to pull, or power source. I don't need dead truck in morning. I think I'll go to car toys for new reliable alarm system.
  3. Looks like the English like the Buick swap, your jy must have a bunch of dead Buick engines waiting for a new chance of life..I missed thr chance to get the 4.3/231 out of a rear ended grand national with only 85k on it. The jy got a whopping $8000 for it. To rich for my blood...
  4. If you still have it or it returns try the spare tire rack on back, there is a striker there also under the door on exterior of truck, bad contact there caused mine to act same way until I replaced it.
  5. What is that in, the brake buster is on left side of engine bay. How much work was involved
  6. Has anyone herd of anyone doing a 231 swap. These engines have much more power and get better fuel mileage. I had one when I was much younger in a 77 Chevy short bed. I was able to make it a 385 bhp machine. Not sure it would work in a pathy wo a sas though...Just wandering, I'm sure it would be a really fun truck to drive with that kind of power.
  7. 42 on that. Im just now learning to Skype on here. But hey everyone gotta start somewhere in order to get it down. Heck my 4 year old granddaughter is probably better than me at texting. LOL
  8. I see. I'm going to need to get up on some of the lingo in here. Not quite like C.B. chatter. LOL

  11. I was hoping to see a response from you. Your a very wise man when giving out advice. I have been leaning 15/31 due to cost and extra weight savings. By power loss. I mean causing thr engine to bogg down other than changing gears. This will be my off road ride when completed. I have a 04 Nissan Titan nmbr 100 off thr assembly line. We only have 14000 miles on it. Beings we have it payed for don't want to use it for off road when the pathy Will do the job better, especially during hunting season. We will be going through your neck of the country Friday morning to deliver load in bay area. By the way what does iirc mean. I see you use it alot..and what do you mean by expedition set up?
  12. What kind of power loss would be involved? Pathy has 234k on its drive train.
  13. Sounds as if you have either a bit of a sticky lifter or two. Or maybe a loose connecting rod. With all the upgrades it a bit of digging into the inside.
  14. Starting to get ready to build up a solid trail rider for great northwest, western Washington.would like any suggestions.on good application's. I've already got s 3 inch lift', kit steering stabilizer, new shocks,12k winch, hi lift jack. Lites, and a ARB style cargo rack on order. Going with new duratrac's but can't decide whether to get 15-31's or 16-32's. I've got the 16 inch rims but like the price and wheels in the 15 inchers. Any ideas to pro con's are much appreciated. Well here's to new friends, advice a good build up. And lots of good dirty fun on the trail. B-)
