95 RPM JUMPING ALL OVER WITH JUST POWER ON
SpecialWarr replied to bwd111's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
IIRC means " If I Recall Correctly" -
HAHA! Made in Montreal my friend... good quality steel from recycled bridges and collapsed overpasses!

Yea, that's a 15 gallon for sure, even with the base timing off and missing a cylinder I was still getting an easy 300 miles out of mine when I bought it. Now that the timing, sensors and vacuum lines are all new and firing on all six I get 380 or so out of my 20gal..... I've been looking around on the internet and, as adamzan pointed out, while there seem to be some things listed as 15 gal units they are all the same dimensions which fit the 3.0 Collapse Tank Assy-Fuel - Part Code: 17201 17202-41G02 Tank Assy-Fuel Replaced by: 17202-61G00 VG30E, VG30I 01 $467.20 $352.64 17202-41G08 Tank Assy-Fuel Manufacturer's Note: Limited Availability Z24I 01 $405.43 $306.02 Replacement Fuel Tank For 1991 Nissan Pathfinder SE 6 Cyl 3.0L Specifications:15 gallons / 57 liters34.38 x 20.75 x 11.75 in.With pan PART#: REPN670108 MFR#: REPN670108 Spectra Fuel Tank For 1991 Nissan Pathfinder SE 6 Cyl 3.0L SPECTRA FUEL TANK, STEEL, SILVER, 15 GALLONS/57 LITERS -- 34-3/8 x 20-3/4 x 11-3/4 in.; With lock ring and pan; Does not include seals and f..... view more PART#: SPINS8B Dorman Fuel Tank For 1991 Nissan Pathfinder SE 6 Cyl 3.0L DORMAN FUEL TANK, STEEL, BLACK, SOLD INDIVIDUALLY -- 15 gallons/57 liters; 34.38 in. I decide to figure out if the 4x4 still works after putzing around all summer in RWD only. The tracks up the bank in the snow would seem to indicate that it does!

RockAuto has this listing: PLATINUM PRO FTK010142 34-3/8 x 20-3/4 x 11-3/4 and: Fuel Capacity (g) 15 Fuel Capacity (l) 57 Fuel Tank Coating Paint Height (in) 11.75" Installation Hardware Included Lock Ring , Gasket Length (In) 34.375 Lock Ring/O Ring Yes Package Contents Fuel Tank , Lock Ring, O Ring Shell Material Steel Width (in) 20.75" Alternate/OEM Part Number(s): 1720261G00 So what you want is something way taller than 12" OR something that is more like 34" x 34"

What send 5 volts or voltage to the TPS sensor?
SpecialWarr replied to bwd111's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
I don't have any idea but that thing has an electrical plug, so it has to be connected to a part of the main harness and not the engine sub-harness. I changed my sub-harness and the only things that are on that is the AAC/ AIV , the knock sensor, the ignition plug, the coil plug and the FI plugs. I would take a long hard look at the TPS setup on the truck and ask yourself: where does the FSM tells you how to set that thing up! -
I replaced the coolant temperature sensor.... took 15 minutes. Reset the two codes 14 and 33. And then decided that I am moving on to apple turnovers....a box of four... and a film for the rest of the day.

Dumb-ass question from the guy in the back: is it just the manual trans that have the VSS?
-
How exactly do you get the control module apart? I didn't see a split line on mine this summer when I rewired it.
-
Don't feel bad even the pros do this:
-
Does the XTerra have a step-down on its rack or is just that my imagination?
-
You may want to try the METER fuse in the fuse box. I found that it has to be intact to get anything to happen in my wd21!
-
Dear lord.... well, I guess I shoulda had a bit more coffee before the "enter" button then.... sorry, my bad!

The only way I can figure "11:00" orientation is through a typo. That reads 1pm as far as I can tell!!
-
It looks like Kingman and I were wrong! Mine is oriented exactly like that.
-
+1 on Kingman's thoughts...I'll go and take a look at mine in a sec and post a picture.

I spent the weekend bailing on plans to swap parts with adamzan, taking care of my wife who came down with the flu and got some connectors removed and re-wired .... corrosion so bad that the female blade connector inside the plastic came out as blue powder. And I figured out that the power window amp from a 240sx does not work in a pathfinder.

New rear bumper for my "95 WD
SpecialWarr replied to Manik's topic in Solid Axle Swaps, Hardcore Custom Fab
Nice work! I wish I had the time and tools and space to be able to get into that kind of a project. But, alas, I am stuck with an apartment and a street instead of a house and garage. -
Now I'm not really familiar with this technique, but I assume it's the usual butter, eggs and sugar combination? yes? Can I get that at NAPA?

2008 ST -ABS locked up - Please help ! -QLD Australia
SpecialWarr replied to Jarloo's topic in 2005-2012 R51 Pathfinders
First thing to do is get the truck to another garage for a second opinion. I would suggest that it's an electrical issue but not likely with the module itself. But that's based on my experience with my father's newer vehicles. Either way take that to a garage of good reputation (not the one with the biggest ad in the paper or phone book) and get another opinion. -
1995 transfer case out of adjustment?
SpecialWarr replied to Kyle94's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Both are adjustable if I recall from what I saw in the FSM. Not that I have ever done that. -
I've got some duct tape if you need to keep that in there more, permanent like..... 'just sayin'!

I swapped keys this morning with my fiancee, just to see if the door lock is in need of a cleaning or whether the key is getting too old.... I think a bit of both. Left with her key, drove to work and thought about hitting the series of mud puddles... but I'm going to have it steam cleaned before the weekend, because my family will probably give it more respect!
