You mean like this? *sneak peak of version 3.0* If you're thinking of the do it yourself conduit route, I'd search for Mookie's old post a few years ago. I posted as well, starting mine off similar to and based on his, but I've tweaked it a bit each winter when its off in favor of my ski rack. It started as conduit, then sheet aluminum was added, other stuff went on and off over time, and now I'm pulling it back apart, reinforcing it, adding mounts for 4 X 100 watt Pro Comp lights forward and some fogs rear, and am welding it all together. Whew! P.S. Yes, I know, my garage is a horribly cluttered mess at the moment!

I've got MPI, 94 Pathy. Bought it pretty much stock with 31x10.5 and averaged around 18-19 hwy, depending on driving, mountains, etc. and about 15 around town. Many mods later, close to 6" lift, roof rack and lights, 31x12.5 tires, etc. etc. I'm at about 15 hwy and maybe 13-14 around town. From the higher loss at highway speed, I'm sure its due to the increased drag. But whattya do.

Yeah, I saw that too and was wondering about that. So the concensus there would be Mile Marker is rebranding the HF import cheapo, not HF getting ahold of the Mile Marker unit? That sucks. I love Harbor Freight for cheap basic tools and stuff that will usually get the job done, but I don't think so when it comes to my limbs or life.

Yeah, I see quite a few around here without flares. But even if you have larger tires, and the cops are like they are here, they probably wouldn't look twice unless the difference from stock was REALLY big.

Hey 87Pathy, so they're on your old axle that is out of your truck? Do you need a puller or something, or do they just come off when you pull the bolt? The reason being, I'm heading down to Longview this weekend (about 40 miles north of Vancouver) to visit family. If needed, and you warn you wife so she doesn't shoot me when I show up for parts , I could swing by and grab them after work, then meet Spolar in Longview (I drive down 100+ miles, you drive the last 40 to meet me). Not sure if there is a direct replacement, but there are some aftermarket add-on kits available in different colors, sizes, etc. Check out Summitracing.com and look around.

Man, you're getting good at that. I wonder if some sort of brace could be fabbed. Maybe something bolting to the centerof the spindle, then going around the UCA's and mounting at the nuts on either end. That probably wouldn't work though. Good luck and happy replacement!

That looks like a good start for sure. Have you cctuall verified if any of these are worn out? Chances are, they're probably toast though if you have many miles on the truck.
