True that. Cover every single thing you can, and post it up. Everybody has probably been 5 steps into a project, then looked at the instructions and wondered how things skipped from step 4 to 6. You're knee deep into about one of the most seriously in depth Pathy (re)builds one could imagine. Please post up with any circumstance you may think others might run into, cause chances are not may of us have gone so far and deep as you have. Continued GOOD LUCK!

Do you have a 91 2-door or 4-door? For some reason I want to say they offered both that year, but I could very welle be wrong. Regardless, what do you have? Anyways, if you're 4-door I doubt it will work directly since they reference the 2-doors years. There's tons out there in the forum to explain about the different metric bolts for the rear-most body mounts. If this doesn't apply to you, carry on... Oh, and I have the PA 3" kit myself. Statikuz had sorta orgainzed the threads, and I've posted about my install, as have several guys out there with lots of info. Check here, and search around

Sorry to hear, cause that sucks. Good luck! That's the key in the long run. Learn, then you won't have to risk turning your truck over to some idiots.

Good job, and post pics. I've got every option under the sun plus multiple relays for various lights and stuff I've already mounted on the PS fender. Lets see your idea, although I'll probably have to fab something for mine at this rate. Mmmmmm... headers.

If you're already starting with a truck with a trashed frame plus a rusted out body, you may be better off cutting your losses and stopping now. Not what you want to hear, I'm sure. It will be quite spendy to fix just these issues, plus the ton that will pop up once you start to tear into the truck. It all greatly depends on your location, your ability with a wrench, and your resolve to do it.

Do you find yourself running from people or the police often???

Not exactly a Humvee though, and not exactly cheap.

Mmmmmm... mashed 'taters.

WTF?!? A guaranteed car wash?! This I gotta see. They'd ban me.

I've heard CRX and Prelude seats have been such a common swap item, they can be hard to come by. But then again, I had a Prelude SI, and I'm not so sure I'd want those hard things. Well, maybe since the Pathy isn't lowered.... -thnkboutit- Pics you Filthy beast?

Heh heh heh... wait, you're not serious man, are you? Back away from the product slowly... back away, and walk away.

Wiring the fogs off the parking lights (as a trigger to the relay) is simple enough. Search, I did a write long ago and we touched on that stuff in a thread by PathfinderJay. Help me out here guys, there is a wiring website a lot of guys like 88 link to, and I can't remember the name. Anyways, I think its there that references easily how to wire the markers to the turn signals, although I'm sure you can figure it out. Relays and heavy gauge (re)wiring is your friend.

That stuff looks stout. Good job, where's mine?

LOL That thing looks like a dismembered blow dryer. Where's the duct tape?

LOL I'm sooo far off the end of this price scale, I don't even want to go there. And I've done much of it myself too. Suspension, body lift, various stereo and lighting stuff, locker, then there's a couple brake jobs, clutch, broken exhaust studs, etc. etc. etc.

Exactly. Most all of us are more than happy to answer any questions, even those that could be found by searching, cause we all know the search function is less than ideal. But it gets frustrating seeing multiple posts like "what lights should I buy" and stuff like that. Nobody can make that decision for you, and the options are endless. I think it would be more constructive to research on the net/in mags/at shops/etc. and narrow the search down to say 2 or 3 items you're seriously interested in. Then ask specifically about those, explain what you're hoping for, how they will be used, and ask if anybody has experience or any pros and cons for them. Stuff like that will help you get the answers you're looking for without the other stuff. About the other B.S. questions you've faced regarding why you're building your Pathy in the first place, I'm with you there. Who cares why you're doing it, its your truck and you want to do it, so knock yourself out. Sure, you may be able to buy another truck for the cost, but maybe you don't want another truck. So be it, and good luck. 'nuff said.

I'm doing this same set-up now. All you have to do is figure out how you're going to route and set up your wiring, then do it twice side by side. Put the two lights in the middle on one switch and circuit, and the other two on another switch. I find it convenient to separate and tape off each set independently so you don't get confused. About the hole in the roof, I think that's what its going to take. I believe 88 and some others have just drilled through, then sealed it up with a bunch of silicone. I don't think there's really an existing way to go, so you have to make one. Finally, I'd recommend picking up a voltmeter/tester, just to be on the safe side while wiring. Follow the basic diagram provided by Vsicks, take your time, and test your work along the way. If money is an issue, you can pick up a cheap made in China meter for a few bucks at Harbor Freight, or even a simple test light probe for like $2.99. Oh, and fuses are your friends. Use them.

Try dropping it down to 65-70 on the highway for a tank or 2, just to see. Remember, you're no longer driving a sleek little car that slices through the air. Its more like a cinderblock with tires going down the road.

This is what I want to see. I also have a crap back, especially on road trips. The Maxi's are a bit more plush than a Pathy, but I bet and SE would have some decent sporting seats.

D'oh! Holy dorky studdering, Batman! -thnkboutit-

I used the regular (rubber) bushings they supplied, although they were pretty firm. But they went together very easy, with no wierd non-alignment.
-
Wow. I've got the Rough Country ones too, and I don't recall them being particularly "off" when installing them, but I guess they allow for some serious tolerances. Wacky.

how to work the foglights without headlights
Mr. Pickles replied to FUELER's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
I the trigger for the relay to my driving lights (originally the stock fogs) from the parking light circuit and through the stock console switch. That way I have driving/fog lights by themself (and now the roof rack lights) with the parking lights, low or high beams, or turned off and running parking, low or high normally. Very simple wiring really. And no matter what, all lights are still off when the headlights/parking lights are switched off.
