Biggest tire for bone stock 04 SE?
Rebelord replied to PrecisionX's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Stepping up to 32" they will rub at full lock in reverse. Just one of them things. -
It can fit a 31" just have to raise it slow and wiggle to get it to sit where you need it too. There are guide brackets to align it. May have to crawl under and help guide it. Biggest thing is don't let it run the Panhard bar. Sent from fat fingers on S6

As long as the 99 is a face lift body style then it would work. Pre face lift. The body lines won't match up. Sent from fat fingers on S6

Side note: in my buddies Jeep Cherokee. When his resiter died. It also burnt up the wires from thr selector switch to the resister. We had to rebuild that harness. I'd shoot your wires. Make sure they are good. Sent from fat fingers on S6

Again hard to diagnose over the interwebs. But I'm wondering if he got some bad gas and built up some deposit. Fuel dispenser filters are commonly 10 micron. Very few places run smaller than that. I know you have a bottle of seafoam in. Run this tank down. Then before next fill up. Put a full bottle of Chevron ProGuard w Techron in. And fill up with highest grade. Should be 91 or 93. I know the 3.5 will run on 87. But at least mine runs like poop on it. Sent from fat fingers on S6

If you supply 12v directly to the blower does it spin? Sent from fat fingers on S6

When you get gas and you select your grade or hit the button are you selecting which number? 87 89 90 91 93? You replaced the plugs with which ones? Sent from fat fingers on S6

No codes? If they are saying it's pinging that's basically engine knock from fuel and timing. Are you running 91 octane or higher? If your running 87 the 3.5 doesn't like it very much and you will have knock from the fuel not burning at the rate the engine desires. However if it retarded the ignition that much. You will also notice a lack of power. On that note is this within the start of a recent gas fill up or been through several tanks? If several same gas station? Can you record a video of it and post it? Just upload to YouTube. Sent from fat fingers on S6

Rockauto.com is your friend. There is a discount code in their thread in the vendor section. They have a stock replacement exhaust for cheap. It works. Sent from fat fingers on S6

Ok. Can you describe the ticking sound? Is it metallic? A soft puff puft sound? Hard metal on metal sound? Any idea of direction it is coming from; front or rear, left side right side? Able to hear windows closed/open? Over radio or only when it's quiet? Need more info to Internet diagnosis. Sent from fat fingers on S6

Question: Why does the 03-04 rack and pinion cost so much more than the 96-02? Sent from fat fingers on S6

Those KYB are good. Rancho ones don't have a good track record. Plus hard to find. Monroe, for grandma. They've been known to blow out faster than the Ranchos. I personally run Gabriel Ultra. I havr abused them hard they are holding up like a champ. I get them from Autozone because they lifetime warranty them for the seals. So if I do blow one out. I just exchange it. Can be had for cheaper online. The Gabriel do ride stiff though. But also absorb washboard with ease. Sent from fat fingers on S6

GR2 is no longer available. That's why. Not for our application. Sent from fat fingers on S6

Love the dogs! Search Stoic build thread. He devised a way to mount the racks directly to the side rails. So it sits lower. Pretty slick. Sent from fat fingers on S6

You have to remove the bumpstop to install the airbags. Btw if you're not going with lift springs. At least install some new Moog springs. Can get them at Advanced Auto for about $45 for the pair. Sent from fat fingers on S6

Installed the longer rear brake line from AC parts. Works like a champ. Also put in Fluery rear 1" spacers to give it a rake and not have the old California truck look to it. Installed front camber bolts to get it aligned. Hooked up the A/C machine. It was over charged to 1.75lbs. Way over. At proper pressure the compressor is bouncing. Will need a new one. Recommendations? Sent from fat fingers on S6

I believe the whole assembly unbolts. I had mine do the same. But I just soaked the chain in liquid wrench and was able to straighten it out. But my links themselves didnt deform.

AC Lift strut failure cause steering issues?
Rebelord replied to tdurb1327's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Nope. Pull the mounts for the rack. You can then pull it away from the frame just far enough to remove the old ones. The you basically just wrap/rotate the new ones on. The driver side does have to be in a specific position though. You can wipe em down with some dish soap to make em easier to slide on. Doesn't take long. Sent from fat fingers on S6 -
Yup. Redheads. I just swap em out at outdoor world. Sent from fat fingers on S6

Changed the belts. They were pretty bad, about to break at any point.
