The reason for the higher HP figure is that the MT 3.5 don't have power valves. It's just open. Also if you look you'll notice the TQ figure is lower on the MT ones. Does it matter? No they are probably 99.9% the same. Honestly these 3.5 are probably the same 265HP that came in the early 350Z cars. Minus some tuning. Either way it's a good engine. As far as transferring interior parts. Go for it. Sent from fat fingers on S6

You mention distributor cap and wires and rotor. But what about the actual distributor? They bushing in it likes to go bad which ends up shorting out the actual coil in the distributor. I would make the original dealer that has been doing all this "diagnosing" pay for any repairs and labor costs. Since they havent been able to do anything since December '14. -
1 hour labor is $300 there? I need to move!! If you have access to a lift, not so bad. Or if you can get it pretty up in the air on some heavy duty jack stands properly supported

It can be messy cleaning up the old CV axle. Getting the grease off and such. Unless you have a parts washer. Then it make life a lot easier. If you get the rockford ones, when you put the new grease in, just cut a corner to squeeze it out. Also, on my rockfords. The clamps I had little success with. Ended up using hose clamps. BTW, you may need a press to get the outer end axial part off. Depending on current grease condition and contamination.

Um, shouldnt be an issue. You have something else going one. If you have a proper pressure gauge set. Check your pressure for low side and high side. Report that then we can go from there.

Had it quick washed and simple interior wipe down. I still went over the interior with Vinylex. Tomorrow will finish up with the Ultimate Waterless Wash and Wax to help protect the paint. Unfortunately when I park to take the work truck. I have to park under a tree. Which has lovely birds in it. So, sometimes I have a bunch of bird poop I have to wash off, or now as mating season has been over. I am getting eggs that fell out of the nests on it. Ugh.

No you don't. The front is fine. The rear will work. However I recently installed a longer rear brake line. It definitely gives me more confidence when the rear droops. As when you lower the rear to install the spacers. My brake line was my limiting factor. It will be at it's max. However would it ever drop that far wheeling? Probably not. But close. I picked up mine from AC (4x4parts.com) mainly because they are local so if I had a issue. It would be easy to resolve. It was worth it to me. As for my fronts I don't think they would ever be a issue. However stainless braded lines do increase brake performance significantly. Which is always a good thing. Btw if your staying with stock springs. If your rear are original. At least replace them with new Moog. Less than $50 for the rears at most auto parts store. I paid like $45 at Advanced Auto. . Thermostat going, water pump or radiator could be clogged. That and possible air in system. Get the FSM and follow Precise instructions. He knows the 3.0 better than me. -

Stepping up to 32" they will rub at full lock in reverse. Just one of them things. -
It can fit a 31" just have to raise it slow and wiggle to get it to sit where you need it too. There are guide brackets to align it. May have to crawl under and help guide it. Biggest thing is don't let it run the Panhard bar. Sent from fat fingers on S6

As long as the 99 is a face lift body style then it would work. Pre face lift. The body lines won't match up. Sent from fat fingers on S6

Side note: in my buddies Jeep Cherokee. When his resiter died. It also burnt up the wires from thr selector switch to the resister. We had to rebuild that harness. I'd shoot your wires. Make sure they are good. Sent from fat fingers on S6

Again hard to diagnose over the interwebs. But I'm wondering if he got some bad gas and built up some deposit. Fuel dispenser filters are commonly 10 micron. Very few places run smaller than that. I know you have a bottle of seafoam in. Run this tank down. Then before next fill up. Put a full bottle of Chevron ProGuard w Techron in. And fill up with highest grade. Should be 91 or 93. I know the 3.5 will run on 87. But at least mine runs like poop on it. Sent from fat fingers on S6

When you get gas and you select your grade or hit the button are you selecting which number? 87 89 90 91 93? You replaced the plugs with which ones? Sent from fat fingers on S6

No codes? If they are saying it's pinging that's basically engine knock from fuel and timing. Are you running 91 octane or higher? If your running 87 the 3.5 doesn't like it very much and you will have knock from the fuel not burning at the rate the engine desires. However if it retarded the ignition that much. You will also notice a lack of power. On that note is this within the start of a recent gas fill up or been through several tanks? If several same gas station? Can you record a video of it and post it? Just upload to YouTube. Sent from fat fingers on S6

Able to hear windows closed/open? Over radio or only when it's quiet? Need more info to Internet diagnosis. Sent from fat fingers on S6
