A image I had downloaded some time ago of Calmini prototype rear disconnect.

Those KYB are good. Rancho ones don't have a good track record. Plus hard to find. Monroe, for grandma. They've been known to blow out faster than the Ranchos. I personally run Gabriel Ultra. I havr abused them hard they are holding up like a champ. I get them from Autozone because they lifetime warranty them for the seals. So if I do blow one out. I just exchange it. Can be had for cheaper online. The Gabriel do ride stiff though. But also absorb washboard with ease. Sent from fat fingers on S6

GR2 is no longer available. That's why. Not for our application. Sent from fat fingers on S6

Love the dogs! Search Stoic build thread. He devised a way to mount the racks directly to the side rails. So it sits lower. Pretty slick. Sent from fat fingers on S6

You have to remove the bumpstop to install the airbags. Btw if you're not going with lift springs. At least install some new Moog springs. Can get them at Advanced Auto for about $45 for the pair. Sent from fat fingers on S6

New guy with 01 about to embark on pathy adventure
Rebelord replied to dblj22rsvl's topic in New People Start Here!
Welcome! Where's the pics? $2500? Struts/shocks. Lift kit with springs and Fleury spacers. Skid plates. Stainless braided brake lines, Z36 Powerstop brake kit. All scheduled maintenance to be done. Lokka locker in the front. Still have $$$ left over. -
Installed the longer rear brake line from AC parts. Works like a champ. Also put in Fluery rear 1" spacers to give it a rake and not have the old California truck look to it. Installed front camber bolts to get it aligned. Hooked up the A/C machine. It was over charged to 1.75lbs. Way over. At proper pressure the compressor is bouncing. Will need a new one. Recommendations? Sent from fat fingers on S6

I believe the whole assembly unbolts. I had mine do the same. But I just soaked the chain in liquid wrench and was able to straighten it out. But my links themselves didnt deform.

AC Lift strut failure cause steering issues?
Rebelord replied to tdurb1327's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Nope. Pull the mounts for the rack. You can then pull it away from the frame just far enough to remove the old ones. The you basically just wrap/rotate the new ones on. The driver side does have to be in a specific position though. You can wipe em down with some dish soap to make em easier to slide on. Doesn't take long. Sent from fat fingers on S6 -
Yup. Redheads. I just swap em out at outdoor world. Sent from fat fingers on S6

That would be beyond awesome if it was pushed back a week or two.

Changed the belts. They were pretty bad, about to break at any point.

TPMS light with beep and without beep?
Rebelord replied to parallon's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
From the owners manual. It only comes on if the vehicle is driven over 20mph for 10 secs and the tire pressure is low. Should come on and beep or tone for 10 seconds. If its on, but no tone. May be bad tpms? Not sure, you may be only one with it on here. -
Welcome Keep the stock wheels. They look good and if you need to offset them a lil. Can be done with spacers. Sent from fat fingers on S6

Nope definitely don't with lift springs. However my OME do ride a lot firmer than OEM. Sent from fat fingers on S6

They will stick out the sides. 4" back space is fine. What most guys run here Sent from fat fingers on S6

Installed the adapter and harness to install a new style Siriusxm antenna to the factory one. Works awesome! Sounds much clearer and not so foggy. Considering that the PO dynomated the rear of the 04 I wonder if he also replaced the speakers? Sounds 1000x better than my 99. Even though the amp in the rear is same part number. my pathfinder is having some issues - o2 sensors, cluster.
Rebelord replied to lhanse13's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
You can only swap clusters that have the same plugs that connect to it. And you can't use a 96/97 that has the mechanical odometer. There are companies that repair them if they require more than you can do. But usually cheaper to find one in the pull yard and try it. If it works. It's either pay the dealer to flash correct mileage. Which would require the original for verification of miles. Or you can go to your dmv and file a odometer adjustment. Basically a permanent record of new miles on odometer on the title. Gives validation for it. Otherwise if you ever try to sell it, it will be flagged for fraud. Sent from fat fingers on S6 -
If you read the fsm it tells you how to read the ABS codes. There is a separate plug for the ABS system. It doesn't piggy back off the ecu standard obd2 data link. You will read which pins to ground out to read the flashes. If you've ever read codes from a obd1 system it's pretty much the same. Sent from fat fingers on S6
