  1. Yes. I don't drive it much anymore and need a truck anyways. I've probably driven it 50 miles since last thanksgiving. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  2. Ok. Was just a thought. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  3. Specific to hardbody's? I'm about to sell my 99.
  4. Pretty sure it's screwed in. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  5. I also have the factory nissan manual on the siriusxm install. Which gives you troubleshooting guides. Whats interesting is that for 2003-2004 Pathfinders. It's noted that they are Port Install only and no dealer install kits. But gives you the part numbers for everything in case you have to replace any components. Even gives out Clarion dealer number to call for repairs. Might take a chance and call them. Never know. However in the end. Probably cheaper overall to replace the entire system with all new wiring and components from after market. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  6. Everything is stock as far as I know. Ok, this is what I figured out. Someone jerry rigged the splice for the RCA pre out for an amp at some point. To the rear speaker output wires. So, I cut that out. Didn't want to mess with the splices. Who every did that, messed with the harness that was the factory one for power to the Satellite box. So, I was able to figure out, Orange is Ground, Yellow is always 12v+ hot, Red is 12v+ Ignition hot. Found the coordinating original harness wires and used some 3M quick splices to get it clean power and remove the mess they made. Not perfect, but better than what was done. Verified on harness to satellite box in the back. So, that's good. Then once all the jumbo was taken out, and I was able to put everything back together. Viola! Front speakers don't cut out anymore! Imagine that. But, now the satellite radio, doesn't want to actually receive a signal and work. I have a new antenna, plus ohm'd it out. Checks good. All wiring on N Bus wiring checks good. Opened up the box to see if I could see anything obvious. Nothing, so I don't know. Only replacements are on ebay. As this boxes are discontinued. Unless by some chance, Clarion actually does repair them.
  7. So my radio has been acting up according to the wife. Plus the factory Sirius XM doesn't work half the time. Removed the radio and found this mess. To me. Looks like the PO had a put in some kind of amp for a sub? The RCA box as a pre out? The blue went under the driver seat and ended. Figure that was the signal wire? But the splice job is WTF worthy. I know the fat round bundle is for the Siriusxm. But cant figure out what the red yellow and orange are for it. I'm about to look at the siriusxm box in the back. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  8. Use one clamp or the other. Using the oem clamp and the hose clamp like that will cause the hose to distort and possibly cause a leak. P Just use the screw style clamp and get proper sized hose. Look at heater hose, since it can take the heat. Not fuel line. Plus, clean the nipples the hose slides over.
  9. ^^^heed above advice. Galvanized metal makes very bad fumes when welding. I'd also look to add more cross bracing. Right now, the floor is just a ┼ I'd try to make it more like ╪ Well, you get the idea.
  10. Does an R51 really have much more room over a R50? 3 car seats, man I'd be looking at an Armada or something if you wanted to stay Nissan.
  11. 05-07 had major issues with the transmission cooler in the radiators corroding the transmission cooler. Turning the fluid into strawberry milk. Destroying the transmission in thr process. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  12. Thermostat are quick and easy. Plus you get a chance to re bleed the system. If you want when you refill add in some Water Wetter. Good stuff. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  13. 198 vs 245ish. 265 rated in the cars. I own both. Tell ya what. Real tempted to ditch the 99 for a 02+ just because of the 3.5. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  14. Sounds like a blocked passage in your rack and pinion. Or the internal seals are shot. Any decent mechanical shop can diagnose it properly. If so can rebuild it or try a junker one. Rebuilt from parts store. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  15. Remember shocks and struts are usually good for about 50k miles street driven. Less once you start going off road or have rough roads, rears sooner if towing. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  16. Not that I know off. I've only found one blog of a guy doing it in a Jeep. It's on my bucket list. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  17. Pretty much. It tells you which voltages it should have at which Temps and if AC is on or off. Manual adjustment. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  18. I've replaced both O ring for the oil cooler. Still seeping. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  19. That is correct for the 3.3l. Idle re-learn is only for the 3.5 Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  20. Bottoming out or over extending? Either way, with 3" of lift, you'll need longer rear shocks. For the fronts, your stuck with standard replacements. Because no one makes longer extending struts for the fronts. Edit: If the rear is still actually smacking the bump stops even after 3" spacers. Your springs are shot to hell and need replacing. You can find Moog replacements for cheap.
  21. Loaded up when we went to Fish Eating Creek for a week. Need a bigger truck.... Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  22. I'd check the IAC. Go by the fsm procedures. Heck maybe the plug has some debris or corrosion from being open for 3 weeks. Could try cleaning it. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  23. I run Gabriel Ultra struts. Been good for me. But do ride a tad stiff when new. I run the Gabriel Ultra shocks on the rear also. But the Bilstiens would be better in the rear.
  24. If yours are shot. But dont want to spend money on OEM ones. Heater hose put on the end coils works good too. To keep squeaks away.
  25. There is actually a set of coil overs that work for the R50. For some kind of van in Japan. Uses the same front suspension setup. A guy on the forum a ways back had a set. I remember he had them up in the For Sale section. But they weren't exactly lift coils, I think they were more geared toward lowering. However, they do "exist".
