  1. Download the FSM from the garage section. Follow it. It'll have you checked fuses and relays. Also. Check your battery connection for corrosion and loose Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

  3. Being an 05 I'd be wary of the transmission milkshake with those. Definitely get the hood open and inspect before buying. Being a repo in that bad of condition. They probably didn't take care of anything else. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  4. If you could make a 3.3 spin those. I'd buy you a case of cookies. Your choice. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  5. Upper timing cover. When I have some light Ill take a pic of my 3.3
  6. Get your self an automotive stethoscope. Or a really long solid rod of sorts. Metal. While the engine is running place it around different areas of the valve covers timing covers etc. Listen for where it's the loudest. If your using a long rod or extension hold with a fist and put your ear to it to hear. It's also very easy to remove the cover to inspect your timing chain tensioner. 3.5 is notorious for it coming apart which causes the chain to slap and ride on the metal part of the tensioner instead. 7. Fluery skid plate. 4x4design.com Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  8. Blue smoke on start? Valve guide seals. Piston rings would smoke all the time along with a whole bunch of other issues Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  9. Plus is just as strong if not stronger. I ran into a cypress stump with it doing about 15mph. Stopped the truck. Scared the bejezus outta me. Didn't even scratch the powder coat. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  10. A 31" spare will fit under the rear. Tight, but it fits. GL with the skid. AC just weighs to much to hassle with IMO. Fluery's is where its at. Quick setup for lift? Just throw on some Fluery's spacers. Otherwise, the ARB Old Man Emu setup.
  11. Fairly easy. Most pain is routing the wiring. Make sure to soak it in liquid wrench/PB Blaster etc real good though. Oh, and a proper O2 socket.
  12. You can most definitely replace the U joints in it. Who ever told you otherwise is uninformed or lazy.
  13. That would make sense if one of his injectors is leaking. Which could cause a odd cold/hot start like issue. *Thumbs up*
  14. What I tried to show in the pics. Was that you put the different sides together. The one side without the spaced bumps goes against the straight side. The straight side has a raised area that fits in the other. Like a puzzle peice. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  15. Its just a matter of cutting out the already notched slot for the filter assembly Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  16. Well one step in my patch concerning my oil consumption. Over the weekend found a bunch of oil in the intake tube. Which consumption through the intake is very common with the 3.5l cars. To which they have catch can options available to them. Me? Nah. Just capped the intake tube part. Put a small cone filter breather on the PCV tube that would go to in the intake. Will monitor the filter for excessive oil and see how my oil consumption goes. If need be, Ill do a whole catch can setup. But I'll go the whole Home Depot route with air line filters n stuff.
  17. Its very easy to do. Just use a new sharp blade in a cutter. Dont cut yourself or cut to much. Install filters. Carry on.
  18. Well, I give you 8/10 out of execution. This is how they go together. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/o-1-w9YoQAxakwU4go_vF3wswfgVFQX1l-YqvGJus2qDnkQY-JxMAFmPzY_SB7kcHVFp-5ZiZxA5ugrWB6moKFA8ka_4ePtKFhWOX5NU6oGrD3TNUn1VRbdhGUlvOI3jiiEV4gcGgUTTOKWLe7e7Yp9jiVcTj4Whhgb4pccc4kNeI0UdxGs2kJ_rzBCY5o-3nJjO2A5OEgVRGsGfnB5eTZp8wqVSpYHwmBfAZy-TKRaWdsYiTZ09rR0jj0y3D4c-g8AwOUNkkjFgH4-juWELnfFcKXucKrmPBKS2xccc3v6cMK2ArFGidBRKqsYGUcsx7zI2R7elZNDp2lCVfZJuLotA1E765gNI2C3G3IvoJnwsNxkyWnCn2K3uCZpQBUHSxV-KK8gOj-3DVBYrYI9ZYV0iTjvLIU_06PNqGonqKKCDYUH6aICW1jT_EUbmy7yZvrqFbBYlQZUehZPVFs7OIWSUIP3J8wVssZ_NBKAKtJUK84H9hZDtb3QVcLk85MA7roxQ2eVdiR1UXjYnFvIGc2PeCDESQJWO9htdZXGZEXYHGIbiclBXVzMMQMuG8MwXxkeW0xDqPSuH6XhdOgHwiihbQRJxyMk=w1716-h965-no https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pwRyyUYs2L9C_vgE3CfgVkvsEjWW9yensvdgBf7IXBZWL2TMxVqO63zcZAZezC1QAXSokFgIg3EnHMhbxyaYlGoiV7crvYSbhHGX3urQrqdGOftTdkf8HCF97YpeeZ5TFBtPYCK7zj7ztFxZ5YG_syA7IuXOoz-rFm0tsZJ5sJSNK9vzNg9gwFlhz68vZlzV4uyW7tLW5GdUHRdaUHHIoH31Qv3n18ghT9p_SDF9Q--YeLYLCuS0NHY3K3dGOa714pUm5KAYG7JGYlJ5chEX1yn93NddkWMH6ODjaj3tzmYtekgyoVmlVfJ63-4OR1wit1AAzp4El8JTKHcaZjvRza3NHuZD4uxhFqmJrZMoDVW8fSnlkyu-r_TgEq9GJzEulz04VSnV1IYekyvDdw5FPX71BhSS97B2BaJYC2TF_SW8npKTeGpFTnWWBWBLSeovdqNA4F136L1nDKzawlDWZ22962QKRiDQe4cRqRrqf3JuHVrTwYJ9Y5aPa3xFsgu99Hm-QctAj2qAu5JrIxdqdV3qajaWSJmUZk8ZNlVdiQXbHt9una5TyfxB_DV5A9NXshPuYzGhQP2pFfRrNX0-EPnxMS0g2-A=w1716-h965-no Edit: For some reason cant post google photos images anymore..Thats why the link
  19. Ive also seen members on here mount their front plate to a roof rack. Pretty slick IMO.
  20. Yea, your definitely going to need to get creative. Lucky Aus gets the Diesels.
  21. Gotta ask. What brand for the sensors. Secondary does your intake have any cracks? Running a heavy oiled K&n? Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  22. Remember that with incandescent bulbs the color and output changes with age. Hotter thr burn the faster the filament degrades. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  23. FSM! Tells all. Otherwise make sure you have a way to clean all surfaces real good. Torque properly with proper gasket/silicone. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  24. On mobile. But there is a thread where someone mad a hidden winch mount. With pics to show how he built the mount. Very similar to how a winch bumper mounts. Using the stock upper bumper mounts then triangular down to the tow hook mounts. The bumper mounts are soft. But the tow hook mounts are attached to what we have for a frame in the front. If I remember correctly it's even stated that the passenger side one is the dedicated hard pull one. But double check your owners manual. It's in there. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
