Put enough layers on. For wheels, bumpers etc you would like to have a solid 4 layers. The Dipyourcar.com guys are pretty knowledgeable and are pretty chill. Been by their store in Coral Springs. They tend to do a lot of high end cars there.

Anyone know a good set of high articulation CV's?
Rebelord replied to Hangdiver's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
True. Read about it somewhere on this forum at some point, maybe they had the lunch box lockers or limited slips up front. Just a thought. Florida guy here, no snow; just hurricanes. -

Isnt the trick for snow/ice to run manual hubs. Keep one locked, one unlocked and then can run 4hi while its snowing and icing with fewer issues? Essentially putting yourself into 3wd mode. -
Guess it's time for ANOTHER thread... :/

Is your intake tube good to go? No cracks past the MAF? They tend to crack near the TB. Coolant temp sensor good to go? IIRC there are 2, one may be reporting a colder temp causing it to want to idle faster. ^^^ IAT temp sensor good to go? ^^^ Same thing. IAC valve, its under the TB. No need to remove the intake. Just PITA to kinda get to. Just a few off top of my head. -
I second this. I can run 100%, but 50+ for extended time. Trips the light, saying O2 Sensor 2 Voltage High. (new sensor in there too!?) Get your code, see what it is. If its the 02, it will trip a Knock Sensor also, but that you can ignore otherwise.

A few mud holes wont kill the lines. Road salt will. So, if you already have rust because of it. Then probably a good time to clean it up and under coat it before winter gets rolling. Edit: Cant tell in the pic, but those look very street tire type. Which in mud suck. Trust me, I got stuck in 3 inches of mud while rolling on some Yokohoma HTS's.

I dont daily drive on the 31" tires. I have a set of tri-spokes that I daily drive with stock tire diameter. But, I do live in Miami. So, 99% of my driving is city type driving. Even on the highways it can be stop n go for most of it. No, I dont try to zip around, not possible! heh.

LSV is ALWAYS first if you have one. Have you downloaded the FSM? If so, BR-8 shows the brake tubing diagram perfect for your needs. Bleeding order per FSM: 1. Load Sensing Valve 2. Left Rear 3. Right Rear 4. Left Front 5 Right Front

Could that have been a rock stuck in the tire?

I'm digging those slick lil fender flares. Instead of the usual fat ones we get stock.

I checked online. There are a few Tires Plus in your area of zip code. Check out their website. They have the Primewell PZ900 for $77 a tire. Of course install and everything else. But might be a shot. Not sure of your area tax rate to see possible final price. As for Primewell tires. I run those on the wifes car. 2000 Mazda 626. No ABS car. They work great. Good dry, good wet traction. Only a few times have I locked em up. But that was a 50+ mph speeds with ppl running red lights. Added note, wife is not a aggressive tire and they have been on there since 112k miles, now has 156k miles. Just now, getting to the wear indicators. But can still go until spring on them. (Can squeeze 50k out of them easy. ) Tis about the best I can do. Only reason I can think of having a W rated tire even on the 4 cylinder car. Is standardized tire from the 4 cylinder to their sport version with the V6. Primewell PZ900 Size: 225/50R17 Article id: #1616 Quantity Update $76.99 each $308.96 total Computerized Wheel Balance: Installation: Tire/Wheel Alignment Check: Valve Stem: Excise Tax: Tire Fee: Scrap Tire Recycling Charge: Total Price: *Tax is additional $47.96 FREE FREE $11.96 Contact store $4.00 $9.00 $381.88

If you can, Autozone. "Limited Lifetime Warranty" on pretty much everything in store. Just make sure to register the part to your name at the store and keep your receipts.

Have you checked all your fuses? Inside and hood ones? May still have caught a wire when drilling and popped a fuse or two.
-
Best bet I can think of is try to find the best deal online and have a shop install them. Unless you can find a shop to price match and sweeten the pot to catch the deal.

Buy a non W rated tire?...
