Back on topic. Karmann. Dont you have unlockable hubs? If so that should rule out CVs and the diff bushings. If you don't. Then I would check your CV axles. Whats to say that creap of a mechanic didnt tighten em down or seat the hub and bearings right. Especially when he did the LCAs. Sent from my Moto X

I found most of the feedback about em on the diesel forums. Like anything else good and bad. But for my truck it was $60 for both rears and $80 for both fronts. Plus at Autozone they give you a limited lifetime warranty. So if one blows a seal etc then I can just swap it out locally. Sent from my Moto X

I need some power sockets in the rear cargo area. Two would be best. Is there a good fused or just a solid power feed back there somewhere? I can inline fuse it. ^^^ What he said. If you don't have the factory bracing from originally having a OEM one. Way to much work. You have to fab in the correct braces and such that tie into the structural part of the body. With no actual room constitutes cutting of the body to make a hole..yadda yadda. Better and cheaper to fab a rear bumper with a swing out.

They are where hands do not fit well. Get it up in the air on jack stands and you'll see. Most of the work will be dis assembly and re assembly of parts on the front of the truck. But with good light you'll be able to see them and inspect them. IF you do decide to replace them. Then that would be a good time to either install a air locker or go ahead and put in a Lokka locker up front. Lokka is the US name for a Aussie or Lunch box locker. http://lokka.com/site/

Ironman springs; the rears are setup to hold 440lbs over stock. Fronts give about 35mm of lift. Progressive rate type of spring. OME have a MD and HD setup. Not sure on spring rate. Progressive rate type of spring. AC springs are the stiffest of them all. Does provide a full 2" of lift. But are extremely stiff and hard until broken in.

I have always loved those older Alpine units. Well today. Got it dirty and COMPLETELY blew out the seals on my rack and pinion. Was able to get it home. However its toast. I have to replace it. Good news? Since it spit out all the fluid, its basically flushed itself and I can move to ATF now!

IIRC they are rebadged MM ones. They are also pretty popular on Ebay.

Thats just the converter locking and unlocking. Especially when towing. Down here in South Florida we dont have hills. But the highways overpass near every single road they cross. So its a lot of up and down up and down. The 826/Palmetto is the worst of em.

Didnt you just go through a bunch of hassle with the mechanic that did that work to your truck? I would check out your front bearings. Especially if he pulled the half shafts to replace the lower control arms. You can also swap front with rear tires. See if it goes away or follows. Then you know its a tire balance issue.

Those All-in-one Cobra's work pretty good. Lots of my Heep buddies have them down here.
