I'm thinking about a Magnaflow purely for a beefier sound, the extra mpg would be nice too. From my experience so far the biggest increase in mpg came when I put manual hubs on, my mpg jumped from 14 to 18. I have 31" tires though.

Kinda funny, but I think those retards are going to get seriously hurt one day. I like the way he say's "we've got some asshole following us", he doesn't realize that he's the biggest asshole there!

Those guys are great riders but plainly have a death wish. Even though they read the road perfectly there are things the bike rider can't control no matter how good he is, such as doors opening, cars swapping lanes, etc. All it takes is for one of those things to happen & he's a scarlet stain on the asphalt. I had a buddy that drove his Suzuki 380 similar to that back in England in the 1980's, not as fast as those guys but still way speedy between cars, etc, his last name was Cannon (no pun intended) & we used to call him "Nutter". Some times I had to ride on the back of his bike to work & back & he would fly between the lanes of cars on the Croydon underpass. I would have dirt embedded in the outside of my pants legs where we'd brushed up against cars at about 50 -60 mph in heavy traffic. I went through a lot of underpants in those days
Needless to say, one day a car turned right in front of him & he hit some metal railings at about 50mph. He ended up with a broken leg (compound), broken arm, fractured shoulder, fractured hip & numerous cuts & abrasions, He was in hospital for weeks & when he got out the first thing he did was ride my buddies Kawasaki 250 triple around, casts & all!!!
I sold my Kawasaki GPZ 750 just before I came to the States & I've never been on a road bike since.
Those videos make my testicles tingle in fright

Thanks!!
That looks like a pretty cool trail. Maybe worth giving them a call to get more info on other trails also.
-
Cool!
Thanks.

^^^ yeah, what gives?
And dang it Ex, you missed a chance to confuse us in the thread title. Could have said that you purchased another Pathfinder or something. Well, on second thought that would be childish and misleading.
Despite me being extremely childish & misleading....... I never thought of that.
I need to brush up on my deviousness.

Casio Pathfinder (PAW-1500).
I thought the features were pretty cool, temp/barometer/altitude/compass. Once I calibrated everything it seems to be pretty accurate, it's only supposed to be a guide anyway, not an exact scientific instrument, but it'll do for me. Just another extravagant toy to add to the collection

I guess there aren't any trails out there then?
-
A lift, decent tires, manual hubs, off road lights, etc. This is after following Towncivilian's advice first of course...

Anyone know of some off road trails near Zion/St George?
Heading out there for a few days & I can't find much about any trails, except for ATV parks.
Thanks.

I've just got a cheap Eastwood 110v MIG welder. That with a bottle, cart, gloves and a helmet was all of ~$600.
One of the 4x4 magazines said Eastwood had the best welder under $300 (a few years ago). I've used some big, nice ones before, and this sucker will do anything I need it to. Good products.
Thanks for the info, sounds like a good deal, I'll see if I can scrounge up some coin.
Jamesrich has one, though its on a WD21. Maybe hit him up.
I'd like to get his thoughts, I'll pm him. Thanks.

I've checked out their site before. I guess they used to be Kennesaw Mountain Accessories & they got a lot of bad reviews. As TAG they have mixed reviews, some people say they had to do a lot of modding to get their bumper to fit, others say they never had a problem. I'm still in 2 minds whether to go for it or not.
-
Looks pretty good! I'm after a winch bumper but I don't want to fork out $1500. Wish I had a welder, etc, I'd be fabbing the shee-ite out of everything!!

x2 Plus, there is a hot chick driving Darek's ride!!
"My what good eyes you have Grandma" (paraphrasing Little Red Riding Hood). I never noticed that......

I bypassed my rad cooler when I installed my larger aftermarket cooler. Seems to have cooled the engine a little bit.
-
Interesting, I'm also wondering about this. The off road trailer I'm building doesn't need it but I want to be able to tow a bigger trailer with brakes.
-
I just changed my rear diff oil, I used Castrol Limited Slip Synthetic 75w-90w & didn't use any plug sealant. No leaks, seems to run great.
-
R50s have a hood switch next to the driver's side headlight assembly.
Cool mod, nice work! Looks bright for sure.
You beat me to it, I was just going to mention that switch
-
Sort of.........

I've always liked that shot too, good job last month was "sand" not mud or I think Darek would have hammered me with this shot!
Rebelords is pretty cool also, looks like he is in Africa.
Being an "expedition" type, not a rock crawler I like to see stock vehicles (or slightly modded) playing in water/mud.

They don't have an MOT test here but I think California might still frown slightly on that.........
-
Yup, I have, well didn't have a choice it fell off lol, you will but you will loose power, I welded a small down pipe to it to direct the exhaust below the rear axle
A noticeable power loss? Did it affect gas mileage?
My hardbody had the cat cut off, just the muffler left, and that sounds loud and a whole lot worse than the pathfinder with the cut back, neighbours loooove it
Unfortunately here in California they'd clap me in irons if the cat was missing, no way it would pass the emissions test.
-
I want a little more beefy sound from the muffler without doing a cat back, has anyone removed that last, tube shaped muffler box from the bit of pipe after the rear axle? If so, does it sound any better or does it sound like a fart in a bean can?
How many others have confidence in the Pathy

I don't do any rock crawling but I have every confidence in my Pathy, it's taken everything that I've thrown at it so far & I've gone a few places where others with me (FJ Cruiser, stock jeep, etc) have feared to go.
