  1. nope... don't want full width...had the axles for a 68 K5 Blazer but I backed out of that build.
  2. it was swapped out rears ago...before i owned it...
  3. So i went down to one of the local 4x4 shops and talked to the owner and he was looking for front and rear Dana 60's for a budget build he is doing...well i just happen to have laying around the set out of a 70's Chevy...well after talking for awhile he asked if we could do some trades for it... Me: both my Dana 60's The shop: SAS conversion, built Dana 44 with 5.13 gears, flattop knuckles, hi steer, crossover steering, installed with Waggy leafs. and Chevy leafs installed in the rear with 5.14 gears only thing i need to buy is Shocks. what do you guys think about that trade.?
  4. getting ready to head out and do some wheeling this weekend.! loading up the camping gear and just going to set it up when the trails end.!!

  6. Scraped the 86 Waggy, they came and picked it up and paid me $200 per ton...got back $347 yea buddy.! that money towards my gears

      only 350? sorry... even an xj base one will bring 400/450 on the scale (scrap recently dropped a little last week) plus some parts stripping

  10. i am gathering all the parts i need for my waggy 44 swap and i need some info on running the 5.13 gears...i am going with 35"-36" tires with the automatic trans...how is the power.? thanks,
  11. i could probably bust out another one but it will take some time...my welder went belly up on me and that is why i have so much of a delay of finishing the sliders and rear...i can figure out a price to build one and shipping...ill need some time

  14. that looks good.! i am still going to try to make it swing out with the factory latch and mounting brackets...so the pass side upper bracket will just be a locking pin...now i just need to figure out how to connect it to a solid mount there
  15. So i have been kicking around the idea of making a custom spare tire rack when i build my bumper and this is what i will probably try doing...does anyone have any other pictures of their own custom work.?

  18. i had those on my old 89 2door pathy...not a big fan...there was no way to make it look right and i got rid of them...$35 is pretty cheap...4x4parts.com has new ones for $325...wow these are not my trucks but you can get an idea of what they would look like

  20. pathy stayed the night about 6 miles deep in the woods with a broken idler arm...went up this morning and got it out
  21. i have 4.63 gears and it does ok...i have only towed a small trailer and quad with it

      old front IFS suspension designs were failures from just about every manufacturer, those idler arms break off all the time (especially on nissans), you need to brace that thing

  23. u need manual hubs for that to work...nothing will be damaged
