  1. well, this is hard stuff...im no master fabricator and this stuff take a long time to do.! Cutting the final piece today for the front then finishing the mounting brackets...then off to the rear bumper

  7. picked up and wired 100W KC daylighters...waiting to mount them on the bumper

  9. Just got done with the base to the front bumper....pretty solid so far...need to cut out the 2" receiver for my winch and a light bar and blinkers...I'll post up some pictures in the morning

  11. i have been thinking about running the 44 rear as well...i figure gears and parts will be more available and with a better price...

  14. i dont know much about the VW but it is a 1974 ragtop.
  15. finished replacing both axles, upper and lower ball joints, idler arm, green machine is in and operating perfect, installed the flowmaster and sounds great, working on the aftermarket trans cooler, cut the base for the front bumper and working on a mount for the Warn winch...figuring out the angles to the bumpers is a lot of work, be prepared for new ideas and lots of changes as you go...lol
  16. They measure 33.6" I guess u can say that's a true 33" Just got done with a bunch of work...it's late but I'll post some pictures tomorrow
  17. if the tube will be on the truck you might as well use them right...i think ill give it a try later down the road... any moister issues you had with this design?
  18. what does that mean.? this is an old trick that i am just hearing about?
  19. Does anyone have any experience making their roll cage an air tank.? How much pressure does yours hold and is there a big problem with water in the cage.? I figured you could just have multiple drain plugs and could just hook the compressor up to it every few weeks and blow it out. sounds like it would be a great space saver.
