  3. thanks everyone for the help. i got it back in there right, at least i feel like i did but you know how that goes. know for sure whenever these headers finally get here!
  4. that is EXACTLY the answer i was lookin for kingman. i will do this first thing in the morning. when you say the rotor in the distributor should point almost directly left is that for the newer model distributor and the older as well? thanks
  5. thanks for the quick reply but i couldnt really figure out my question. mainly what i need to know is how to make sure the engine is at tdc. i know theres somethin about the compression stroke. sorry i shouldve mentioned that in the first post.
  6. well like the posting says i swapped an engine from a 86 pathfinder into my 94. i've got all the newer intake, plugs, and distributor plate swapped over and i'm now to the point of installing the distributor. the engine is out of the truck still because i have to drill a few exhaust studs out and i'm waiting on headers. my question is how do i align the new distributor up and get the timing right. thanks in advance for all the help guys, i really wanna get this thing up and runnin again soon
  7. so just to clarify, (i'm cheap and wanna be sure), just get the centerlink off the same year 2wd hardbody correct?
  8. nice work! i really want to try this out myself. i only have one question... will my stock 4wd idler arm work with the 2wd centerlink or is there certain years i should look out for. thanks in advance
  9. Mine was but she bit the dust so I threw in a five speed. Maybe that'll help me out a little. Dont need a racecar lol just want her to still get down the road. Is that rhinolining on the bottom of the truck
