  4. that is EXACTLY the answer i was lookin for kingman. i will do this first thing in the morning. when you say the rotor in the distributor should point almost directly left is that for the newer model distributor and the older as well? thanks
  5. thanks for the quick reply but i couldnt really figure out my question. mainly what i need to know is how to make sure the engine is at tdc. i know theres somethin about the compression stroke. sorry i shouldve mentioned that in the first post.
  6. well like the posting says i swapped an engine from a 86 pathfinder into my 94. i've got all the newer intake, plugs, and distributor plate swapped over and i'm now to the point of installing the distributor. the engine is out of the truck still because i have to drill a few exhaust studs out and i'm waiting on headers. my question is how do i align the new distributor up and get the timing right. thanks in advance for all the help guys, i really wanna get this thing up and runnin again soon
  7. so just to clarify, (i'm cheap and wanna be sure), just get the centerlink off the same year 2wd hardbody correct?
  8. nice work! i really want to try this out myself. i only have one question... will my stock 4wd idler arm work with the 2wd centerlink or is there certain years i should look out for. thanks in advance
  9. Mine was but she bit the dust so I threw in a five speed. Maybe that'll help me out a little. Dont need a racecar lol just want her to still get down the road. Is that rhinolining on the bottom of the truck

  11. about to go to 33x10.50 s. i got the hg46 gearing and a manual. anyone got this setup? just wanna know if its gonna be gutless or not. any recommendations on tires or sizes welcome

      I was already running 33s when I swapped to 4.6 gears and I am very happy with that setup.

  16. quick question,will a 87 pathfinder v6 tranny fit onto a 94 pathy bellhousing, and what clutch to use? ITS PROJECT TIME

  17. picked up a 93 se with lsd, disc brakes, and electric suspension for 500 bucks. no third or o.d. so time for a five speed! anyone have any suggestions on these electric shocks? keep em or get rid of em?

      im surprised they work too seein how it has 275000 miles. i wonder what the most miles

      ever put on a vg30 is.

      I know a guy near me that had 700,000kms on his and it was still running when he sold it.

  18. has anyone tried a glass pack, turned 21 yesterday so i have some disposable income and i need somethin to spend it on. choices choices

      yes sir!! I got 96 R50 with true duals and thrush glass packs and it sounds pretty beefy it don't sound like a V6 at all! very happy with them!
