Two seperate flow-through mufflers instead of big oval shaped one?
edicer2 replied to KLL's topic in The Garage
when i get more money i might do the same ik someone on here was selling their headers for fairly cheap it was for a older pathfinder with the vg30 in it though -
glade you figured it out man!

I almost wounder if you have a higher sound package. I dont know much about the new pathfinders but i have seen on other makes that if you have bose edition sound or a higher package a regula r sound hardness doesnt work its different due to the different sound package the was it it connects to the stock amp. Idk like i said i dont know much about the 96 and up pathfinders but thats something to check it. I had a simular problem with my buddies passat. I just dont know if nissan does that or not.

i always thought those were confusing to read lol

can you push start it? also check the relay i think there is one that you should hear click when you turn the key. your ignition or something else might have gone bad. The oil might have to do with it that what caused mine to quit working years of oil getting spilled on it from oil changes.

I have a working motor if you want im parting out my old pathfinder since it wasnt worth fixing. Pm me if your interested. My main question is, is there anytihng else that runs off that fuse besides the wippers? maybe there is something eolse shorting it out. Like my freinds radio dome light and horn were all on one and is dome light was shorting it out. All he needed was a new bulb idk how that bulb caused the problem but that was it.

the 02 sensor can start to get cloged and not work properly when under a full load. our old camery did that when climbing hills or passing ppl on the high way. once it was changed it worked great. same with our landcruiser. My guess is its the same with a pathfinder. My old z had the 02 go bad and it did run a little poorly but not to bad you can definalt ytell after you get them changed though. If i was you i would check your ecu and if nothing pops up go buy a new o2 sensor they are cheap so i wouldnt bother reusing a old one

he should make them for about 70 bucks a pair i think he would get more bussniess out of it.

Aftermarket Speed, tach, gas meters
edicer2 replied to aeternaldark's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
well im sure its possible becasue if they can replace the stock z31 300zx with is from the 80s (same motor)with them and get them to work then you should be able to do it in your pathfinder. -
yeah that defiantly was a pathfinder motor! did u ever end up getting a hold of him?
-
damn that a little spendy. im surprised they havent made any yet they have them for my old as 300zx lol

I agree with you its the O2 sensor my parents landcruiser would have the same problem climing hills and we got the check engine light code checked and it was the o2 sensor. It also did it on our old toyota camray when cruising down the highway or climbing a hill. I think its a safe bet to replace it and it is 13 years old so it has over a decage of gunk build up on it. Probably a good idea to change it anyways i did on my 92 and i noticed a power gain because it must not of been running right.

yup i checked i do have one 30bucks shipped! i paid 25 at the junkyard for it and never even used it ik it worked because i tested it and found it was a connection problem and my other one was mint so i kept this one for a spare let me know
-
i might have a extra pm me so i remember if i dont get back to you
-
have you tried testing for power where the fog lights connect? thats the first thing i would try maybe the connection where the 2 ends meet is corroded. As far as the blinkers go pop them open and see if they are all rusty. Mine didnt work on my old pathfinder either and i ended up soaking them with wd40 becasue the bulbs were so rusted in there i couldnt get them out and it ended up working after that. I sitll have mine if you want them. Also if you need the switch i have one ill sell you! im parting out my 93 pathfinder so i have alot of stuff left if you need anything else
-
do you think he would make something like that for the 87-95 models?
-
works great make sure you put it on right or it will have the adverse effect lol
-
glad you got it solved good work!
-
you dont need to wire the circut board ones they are already wired to the bulb sized ones and are just plug and play. only problem is they are normally pretty big and probably wont fit in your dome light. i was lucky my 300zx has a fairly large dome light. I do have a green dome light that might work in pathys i can get a picture and post it up if anyone is interested.
-
im not positive but dont you just screw them in?
-
i bet theres a bulb behind it that went out.
-
you can get ones with a circut board and then it has to tires and connects to a larger circut board with 15 leds.
-
you should make a little list of what you have all tried so far
-
i have a 16 red led one in my 300zx and i love it it looks bad ass
