  1. 31's will fit without a lift and not look silly. Best thing to do is do a search on "LIFT" in the R50 forum and start reading till you see something you like.
  2. $800 with tires or just the lift? Unless your struts are relatively new, most will suggest you replace those and the strut bearings at a minimum when changing your front springs, so I'd figure that in. I am following Rick13's plan with the AC lift but probably going to try 33's because I'm glutton for punishment. Mine is a daily driver as well. Don't forget a set of manual Warn hubs too, they will help greatly with your mileage.
  3. I am in the process of collecting parts for the AC 2" lift. Everyone seems to be happy with it so we'll see how it goes. Got my struts on Amazon pretty cheap.
  4. From what I have read is you can't tuck the 33" tire out back with the 3.75 bs. You will most likely hit.
  5. Are you 100% certain that those wheels are 6" of backspace measured from whe inside mounting surface to the inside wheel lip?
  6. I'm gonna order one too. Did it tighten it up?
  7. I have a feeling that's what's making the racket under my hood.
  8. Are you going to do a writeup or is the swap really easy?
  9. I just got mine from just suspension through amazon, $30 for one side $40 for the other, $70 shipped to my door, no shipping costs. I don't see that deal on Amazon now though.
  10. I was kinda counting on the "look right here" silver. LoL. I was pretty bummed when I opened them up but I am relieved now. Thanks.
  11. Nice writeup! I do have a question or two... did you reuse your original front upper and lower rubber spring isolators? I thought I saw some electrical tape around the top and bottom of your front springs. If so, do they fit the new springs the same as the old? Where does that red/orange gasket go, above or below the NX4 spacer? Thanks!
  12. Got my Excel-G struts in the mail today, I was quite surprised to see the black paint and Excel-G logo on the strut body. The part numbers are still the same and KYB says these are the exact same as the GR2 just black with a new "global" name. Has anyone had this experience yet?
  13. I thought about that but I sure hate the thought of pulling that apart twice.
  14. Got my lift from 4x4parts today, everything actually arrived in good condition. I suppose it should have for the price of the shipping! Should have the struts in a day or two and hopefully I can get the NX4 spacers ordered up this week. Still need to get the strut bearings and stuff from Nissan and get a set of ball joints. Does anybody know the Moog # with the zerk fittings? All I can find are non-greaseable, even in the Raybestos Pro. Gotta scrape up a little more dough, but it's coming together.
  15. Heard from Daddy Rim, hope to order these today. Thanks guys.
  16. It wouldn't let me for some reason, so I emailed him. I'm sure he'll get back to me when he can. You know how it is when you're excited to get something new, seems to take forever!
  17. Ok, thanks man. Hopefully he emails or calls me soon. I would've done this earlier but I wasn't sure I wasn't going to do a SFD until just the other day. Thanks again.
  18. Sent a couple of anxious emails to NX4 on ordering some parts. Does anyone know how long it takes to hear back? Want to get them ordered as soon as possible. In a hurry to get going!!!!!!!! Lift kit should be here tomorrow!!!!!!!!
  19. I agree, the street value has been climbing at a crazy rate. Check inside the door panels to see if there is any other goodies hidden in there!
  20. My truck? Well, if I were selling it, a bird in hand is worth two in the bush. Never hurts to ask right?
  21. Show him $1,300 cash, he'll take it.
