I have just about ordered an entire 2001 Pathfinder from Alkorahil/Rob over the last few months, great guy to deal with!
-
Those look really nice! What size Duratracs are you putting on?
-
Finally putting my Pathy back together after several months of downtime due to strut rot and limited funds to finish up my AC lift. I had planned on replacing my CV axles but they seem to be tight and the boots still in good condition. Should I reuse them or should I just spring for a fresh set of GSP axles? The extra $120 in cost doesn't worry me as much as putting it back together and having an axle fail soon. I'm really getting sick of having the vehicle apart and don't want to work on the suspension for a long time!!! I really don't have the desire to replace the boots and regrease the CV's either. I guess what I'm saying is that I'm tired, LOL. Thanks, Daryl

The only reason I am lifting my truck is to blind you. Don' t take the fun out of it. -

How do you be sure to get the notch in the "spring cap" pointed towards the engine properly? Seems like it would be pretty hard to get it right, no? -

If the cams are facing up or down are they at zero? -
Front Spring Seat Rubber - OME Springs
snow4me replied to rtm5003's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
The springs will fit. Nobody makes a strut longer than the factory spec length. Gonna really have to try harder to compress those heavy duty aftermarket ones. -
I've got to get my spacers ordered. My pathy is completely disassembled in the garage right now. I'm waiting on parts and powdercoating.

Dynomax, I would have never believed it without seeing it with my own eyes. I am really surprised at that backspace.

Front Spring Seat Rubber - OME Springs

I was wrong on my previous post, there is the rubber sleeve on the top as well. -
Front Spring Seat Rubber - OME Springs
snow4me replied to rtm5003's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
I just disassembled one of my factory 2001 strut assemblies today, 54034+B was not on there, only 54034+A on the bottom. 54034 is the only rubber that is on the top and it fits into 54040. -
I was COMPLETELY wrong about that metal piece! That piece is spot welded to 54036 and available as a welded assembly as 54040. I have absolutely NO idea why they would offer this piece separately! The bumper top snaps into this and holds it in place.

We almost have enough michiganders for a rally! -
Thought it was $60 rebate on the duratracs. I too am undecided on white letters or blackwall. Post pics! On a side note, I think you should do what you think is cool and not follow what everyone else thinks. Enjoy those tires!
-
I assumed these just pushed on and were held by some sort of clips, no?
-
Rediculous isn't it?
-
I think his are the 5150 series, not the 5100's. Not sure about this though.

along came pathy 4WD CONVERSION DONE!

I just garbage picked (1) almost new 285/75/16 BFG all terrain T/A. I love free great pickings! -
4x4 parts looks to have added a homemade metal sleeve into the shock box, I am assuming they make it so that shock will fit the pathy.
-
Yep. I ordered those and my AC springs from 4x4 parts.com. I'm actually surprised that the shock price wasn't out of line with what's on the net.
