  1. That'll work. Bigger is better, but at least it's not 4" x 7".
  2. The left cam gear seal typically leaks before anything else, but I wouldn't rule out the crank seal. They're easy enough to fix, it just takes time to tear down and replace.
  3. On a 5 liter V8, I could see the potential, but on a underpowered 3 liter V6 in an overweight vehicle, the gains for a $60-$120 throttlebody spacer are going to be 0-1 HP max. I've seen dyno sheets and read multiple reviews, all you have to do is Google it.
  4. Ohhhhhh. Those are the knuckles? Dayum. Burleh.
  5. Nah. It was all non-functional to begin with.
  6. Sure, have fun. Hope it turns out tasty!
  7. Not yet, no. When I get all my bills paid off, I'll probably get a set of 31's for around-town use.
  8. Fine, as far as I know. They're just cheaper than new tires by a long shot.
  9. HID's may be cool, but these are flashier. I'm gonna get a set someday for the Pathy. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=120018239155
  10. One word: retreads. http://www.high-tec-retreading.com/sizes.html
  11. TB spacers are snake oil. There is NO difference in power or mileage when using one. Just like the Tornado.
  12. Martin is smart, Martin is wise.
  13. If it's been giving you injector error codes, why not troubleshoot the injectors and wiring? They can test good but still plug up or misfire every now and then. Try finding some junkyard injectors and swapping them out, perhaps.
  14. And the exhaust run under the frame! Good times! How the hell does that thing steer? It appears to have a solid rear axle on the front. Rear steer?
  15. I'm diggin' the duallie wheels bolted to the tractor rims. And the chain for a driveshaft hoop. And the old brake rotor on the front diff. Heh. I bet that thing will crawl walls, though.
  16. Very doubtful if it's a US model. It's simply unnecessary here, so it's not equipped as such on US vehicles.
  17. Do a search on the forum, there have been a hundred posts asking the same question before... Quick and dirty, the stock amps suck, running new wires is usually the easiest way, and a factory service manual will decode the wiring for you real quick if you can score one on Ebay.

Sure, why change anything that doesn't appear to be faulty?
  19. As far as I know, Quaife doesn't make a LSD for either axle on a Pathfinder. I bet it'd be REAL spendy if they do make something, though.
  20. Harbor Freight has a hand-held small sandblaster you can just put a cup or two of sand into and hook up to an air compressor. I'm going to get one when they go back on sale. They're $15 on sale, $39.99 otherwise.
  21. There's a vent hose from the top of the tank to the end of the fuel filler hose that may be plugged or kinked somehow. That's all I can think of...it should fill all the way up without needing burping.
  22. Just to let you know, if the water pump IS leaking from the weephole, it means that the pump is shot and needs to be replaced ASAP before it lets go. If it lets go(catastrophic bearing failure), it can take your fan, belts and radiator out with it, as well as potentially overheating the engine and stranding you on the side of the freeway. Also, coolant leaking onto the timing belt will degrade the belt and cause it to fail eventually. If the timing belt breaks, your engine will break with it.
  23. Two bucks says your EGR passage(and perhaps the PCV passage as well) inside the intake directly under the throttlebody is completely clogged with hardened carbon and junk...both my 88 and my 89 were almost exactly the same. No flow whatsoever, no EGR function, and who knows whether that may be contributing to your problem or not...
