  1. Damn The seller just said the same thing, 96-99 won't fit even though they look the similar. Where can I find one??? I didn't find 90-95 at ebay EDIT: Found one!! Armrest but too expensive (49.99+39.50)
  2. the dash is awesome but i want to have that freaking armrest!!! Will the ones I posted fit???
  3. Hi there... I have a "low" armrest at the center console and I need a higher one. I wanna have this one!! (I have the exact same interior, BUT the "high" armrest) I did a quick search at ebay and I found these: CC1 CC2 CC3 CC4 I know they are 96-99 center consoles but they are very similar and it seems like the base is the same. Will they FIT? Any experiences? I saw the JGC center console mod but I rather have the original.
  4. it's very easy... it takes like 2 minutes to take the thing off and a little more to install the new one Good News: The fuel consumption is better now, but still not 100% normal. I'm doing 6.7km/lt or 15.7mpg, far better than 12.9mpg. I still have to change the coolant temperature sensor, hope to get to 17mpg!!
  5. Dude, paint it WHITE. Scratches and dents won't show. Simply as that Mine is dark blue / petrolium crappy like ... and every time I go offroading I get like 20 new scratches and dents.
  6. The little one.. that's just for the gauge... FAIL.. I'll change the other one soon. I will
  7. Indeed... with larger tires you travel at lower rpm, your gears are "longer"
  8. it's kinda crappy... 5.5 - 5.8 km/lt (12.8 - 13.x MPG) very similar to what i'm getting. With a normal 5 speed manual pathy with even 32 tires you should be getting 16 - 19 mpg. (6.5 - 8 km/lt) Read the complete post and begin doing your homework. Scan de ECU, check the temp, o2 sensor etc. Is your pathy manual? auto? big tires? if it is automatic with bigger tires than 31 it's normal to have that kind of mileage. Also, If you put bigger tires, the odometer will not be reading right (ex. from 235/70/R15 to 32x11.5x15 the odometer reads 12.8% LESS than normal) Good Luck!!! I'm posting my results as soon as I get some miles on it. BTW: My truck has a digital odometer... weird! and fuel in Chile is VERY expensive.... 1 liter = USD$1.21 1 Gallon = USD$4.60
  9. So... I changed the coolant temp bulb (US$10), the o2 Sensor (US$93) and other stuff. (everything Nissan Original, OEM) Right away, I knew the temp bulb was busted, now the temp gets a little below half. That could have been giving me crappy mileage. The o2 sensor was THE ORIGINAL, never changed.. so I guess that in 15 years, the damn thing was probably not working as it should. I'll have the consumption results in a few days. Thanks for your time!
  10. LOL..that's weird At Chile, the 2door Pathy's are Newer than the 4door. We have 87-93 4 door with the "square" interior, and 94 - 96 2 door with the rounded (modern) interior (like mine), with crome bumpers and rims.
  11. Do the easy (and cheap) things first Clean the MAF change the sparks plugs change fuel filter (my vote goes to that, when it's very dirty, the car runs just like you describe)
  12. That just supports my theory that my truck has something not working as it should. Anyway, just like (almost)everybody said, I'm going to change the o2 sensor and probably the coolant temperature sensor. I'll let you know how that works for me. Thanks for your time, experience and answers.
  13. Thanks for the answers Regarding re-gearing, is not as simple and cheap to find the gears in Chile as in the U.S. (and I actually didn't think about it because the truck runs even better than with stock tires, and nobody re-gears pathy's here, my friend is getting 18.8mpg without re-gearing). The temperature rises until a little below 1/4 of the gauge (from 0) and stays there. The thermostat and coolant (good one) are brand new.
  14. I'm just trying to figure out why a friend with the exact same truck (year, specs, bla bla bla) and mods (32's, lift, bla bla bla) is getting 18.8mpg and I'm getting just 12.9mpg I just want to know if it's normal to have that kind of fuel consumption or my truck has something wrong.
  15. that's way out of my budget $$$ ... it's a future mod... and a rear locker. regarding fuel consumption, with the correct calculations I'm getting 12,9 MPG ... that's still kinda low right?
  16. Before switching to bigger tires, the speedometer had like 4% error, now the GPS speed and the speedometer are exact... no idea why that happened. I haven't changed the speedometer gear. Thanks for the calculations, I'll check that just in case Regarding the odometer, i'm taking the mesuarement with the digital trip display that the truck has, and as I far as know is reading correctly. How do you re-gear? The truck runs perfect and the idle is smooth. EDIT: I went for a drive, calculating with maps.google.com and... the speedometer is dead on with the gps, BUT! the odometer isn't!!! for every 14 kilometeres, i'm missing almost 2 kilometeres, (so, 14k in my odometer is really 15.8 k aprox, thats 12.8%... just like silverton said..) that improved a little the consumption, but it's still pretty lame.
  17. mmmm.. i'll run the ecu check and let you know. I'll probably change the o2 sensor for a bosch one anyway... EDIT: I ran the ecu check... no codes, all good.
  18. how much is an o2 sensor in the states?? Here in chile a good one (no original, but bosch or so) is USD$80
  19. dizzy cap and rotor good, plugs good, timing correct. I'll run the check just in case.. My main suspect is the o2 sensor... I checked my speedometer with the GPS and it's exact! no diference... Forgot to mention that I have a leaky exaust... stud problem.
  20. spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, all oils, thermostat, cleaning MAF and checking other sensors, coolant. Spark wires are fine.
  21. I have manual transmition, I went from 235/70/R15 to 32x11.5x15 tires. I didn't re-geared (no need, runs very good) I haven't run codes, because the check engine light is not on (no light, no codes... right?) (and yes, the light works)... And I didn't change the o2 sensor because (and let me know if i'm wrong) when the o2 sensor goes bad, check engine light should turn on, and the gases shouldn't be fine... right?
  22. Hi there I have a little problem... after doing full maintenance to my 1995 Nissan Pathfinder VG30E 3.0v6 with 197.000km (122.000 miles) and I'm still getting very bad fuel consumption. Driving like a granmother, i'm getting 10.5 miles to the galon (4.5 kilometers per liter) I have a 2" body lift, 2" suspension lift, 32x11.5 maxxis bighorn tires on steel rims. I hope to get 14mpg but 10.5 it's just CRAZY!!!!! I don't have the check engine on and the gases are fine. any ideas??? PLEASE help me PS: I already saw other topics about this using "search" and I still have doubts...
