  1. but 2.5" is too big, even though it will have catalityc converter and silencer? I either do it in 2" or 2.5" .. I don't have other options.
  2. I'm getting custom headers made and exhaust line in 2.5 (they don't work with 2.25). I hope it makes a notorius diference (I have serious header (studs) leake, that's taking a few horses too).
  3. Easier to repair, re-paint, etc in case of damage. Easy to remove in case of selling the truck
  4. Hi there! You should sell your Nissan and try to buy a 4x4 one.. it's way simpler, safer and in the long run, cheaper!
  5. That's a good idea, but you could make the gusset shorter, to grab only the tube that's welded to the frame.
  6. If you're really stuck, the sliders could bend, the pipe might suck in, leaving a dent. It's cheaper to change a bolt. These are home made sliders, with strong pipes. Very cheap to make too.
  7. I took the photo I promised of the Rocksliders mount. I'ts really simple, just a pipe inside another pipe, with a hole for a nut and a bolt Just weld a piece of pipe to the frame, put the rocksliders inside de pipe, make the hole right through and mount. You need 3 helping hands. 2 holding the rocksliders to level it 1 welding. It should look like this and you'll have REMOVABLE rocksliders. Important: just make ONE hole per mount, using 1 bolt and nut. If you use 2 holes, nuts, and bolts I will be stronger BUT if someone has to winch you sideways (for example) and grabs to your rocksliders, the pipe might bend, wrecking the RS. With one nut, the nut will probably break... and it's way cheaper replacing a bolt than the whole RS.
  8. I had a similar problem.. I took it to a firestone(ish) alignement center and they wanted to touch the T-bars .. but I told them that they had to use shims and stuff.. USD$20 later My truck was good to go. Print out this thread and take to your shop!
  9. and they fit any pathy? (90-95) How do I install them? I'm kinda want them ..
  10. Ebay... I live in Chile, like US$200 (with shipping) 4 wheel spacers + bolts. As far as I know the spacers = adapters. These are the ones I got They are ridiculously light..
  11. I have 2" wheel spacers aluminium CNC and no problem so far (I go offroading every weekend)
  12. One of my hinges is broken!!! I want two of those!!!!!! amazing Do they make it in black?
  13. Thanks!! I think you can find one for less than $50 and shipping to Chile via USPS is cheaper than $39.5!! The other option I have.. is to make a fabric-wraped foam armrest (like $10)
  14. Nice pic! we want more
  15. Damn The seller just said the same thing, 96-99 won't fit even though they look the similar. Where can I find one??? I didn't find 90-95 at ebay EDIT: Found one!! Armrest but too expensive (49.99+39.50)
  16. WOW That's a big rocky climb Nice truck dude
  17. the dash is awesome but i want to have that freaking armrest!!! Will the ones I posted fit???
  18. Hi there... I have a "low" armrest at the center console and I need a higher one. I wanna have this one!! (I have the exact same interior, BUT the "high" armrest) I did a quick search at ebay and I found these: CC1 CC2 CC3 CC4 I know they are 96-99 center consoles but they are very similar and it seems like the base is the same. Will they FIT? Any experiences? I saw the JGC center console mod but I rather have the original.
  19. Oh.. the twisting, that I can fix.. BTW kiwipete's ride is brilliant!! He's so freaking handy... amazing work, I'll do that right away. The roll cage doesn't have reinforcing plates, other experiences (here in Chile) are very good without them. Some pics of today's work.. Home Made Rocksliders.. (they look just AMAZING when you see them live) =D
  20. Hum.. I only see this one, is that the TK1? Steering System EDIT: That's USD$300 with shipping to Chile, it's kinda expensive.. Could I reinforce the original centerlink? Good news! I'm doing the Roll Cage.. some pics of the advances..
  21. Mmmm I'd like to buy the calmini steering fix But shipping to Chile is just INSANE. They refuse to offer better shipping. I buy lots of things in ebay and shipping to Chile is pretty cheap most of the times. - Is there a better option regarding steering? (another manufacturer, cheaper or something) - Anything home made? - Any experiencies with that product?
