  1. I have a pdf of a 89 hardbody truck I can send you but it's 115 meg. I have sent it to other people with a dropbox acount. All I need is an email to send you an invitation to download it. The code is different in the truck fsm 43 but the procedure to set it is the same. James
  2. The codes for the 87 are different than what they are for the 94. A 42 on the 87 is for the throttle sensor circuit. It's the switch on the back side of the throttle body. Here is a scanned page from my 87 factory service manual. It's a crappy scan because the book is old and I don't want to push it down too hard on the scanner. Mine shorted once and was running so rich it looked like a diesel blowing smoke out the tail pipe. James
  3. You guessed it, that is where they fit! You are right on the Idiots comment too! This shop used to be a manual shop with a drain along the middle of the floor. They filled the drain in and put the machines over it. We had two huge mazak horizontals with tombstones too. They were on the other side of the shop but both on the same side of the filled in drain. One of them left last year but we still have one. They never have trouble with the alignment on them but they never do 5 axis work either. James
  4. You would think they would have let her practice with a dummy grenade first! James
  5. Don't get a titan fan they are crap! In 80k miles I've had mine replaced twice. They were also known to catch fire. James
  6. Here is my work mess! Has been for the last couple of days and I have a few left! When you put three 61,000 pound machines in a row on the slab of a 40 year old shop the floor will constantly sink! As the machine looses level it also looses accuracy. When you have to hit tolerances in the tenths of a thousands you have to keep re aligning the machine. If I let mazak do it by themselves I get the "close enough" excuse. I have to stand their and help them do the mechanical part, while cracking a whip, then I do all the parameter alignments myself. The maintenance guy at our shop doesn't even know how to align these machines. I had to learn just so I could get my machine cutting the way I want! Then as if this isn't enough pain in the ass the high tolerance job I have coming in 718 inconel will probably take the little sanity I have left! I need a new job! James
  7. Cool, you still have to do a little modding with his crank adapter. He shows it all in his VG34 thread. Should be easier than all the modding you had to do on yours. I have a pile of parts I will turn into a VG34 one day, my VG30 just won't quit though. I got a VG33 from a frontier with all the accessories in the same locations as the pathfinder so they should just bolt up. James

My brother started calling mine Willy because it will go anywhere like a willy jeep. Keep in mind we don't have no rocks to climb down here just mud! James
  9. You just gonna put a VG30 crank? So you don't want to modify all the brackets for her truck too? James
  10. Welcome and congratulation on getting the first and best year pathfinder! James
  11. I love the smiley face shot in the sign!
  12. Replaced upper control arm bushings and upper ball joints then brought it in for an alignment and found out that the moog problem solver lower ball joints I replaced 3300 miles ago have a problem! They both already have slack at 3300 miles. Doesn't sound like they solved my problem! James
  13. That first one went for a good price! I really don't want to order one and have to pay an FFL to receive it. I was hoping to pick one up at one of the local gun shops. James
  14. I've been wanting to get a 10/22 for my son's 13th birthday because I was 13 when my dad gave me mine, but they are not available anywhere right now! The guy at academy told me guys were buying the ones with the pink stocks and then changing them just so they could get their hands on one. Obama definitely is the best gun salesman ever! James
  15. You young guys have way too much time on your hands! Y'all need to grow up and get a real mans job where you work so much that you only have time to eat, sleep, work, and cry while you pick at young people with really cool car projects! James
  16. I'm in the testing phase with a custom distributor but it might be a little while before it's ready. James
  17. I would sand all the rust off then apply the primer to make sure the rust doesn't come back. If there is a hole I would remove the headliner and get some primer in from the back side too before fixing it. James
  18. I have the same problem with my 87. If it doesn't go down to the windshield flange you could just fix it without removing the windshield just take the molding off. Get some rust converting primer to stop the rust. James
  19. Headlight aiming with the hand held gadgets is a pain in the ASS! I would be willing to pay $30 for someone to do mine if they needed it. The old school machines that had a track on the floor were much better but no one has them anymore. Headlight aim is supposed to be checked when inspecting a vehicle but no one does it anymore. I just use a garage door to make sure they are booth level. James
  20. I think she screwed up, she charged me $15 per wheel and tire. That's the steel wheel price. The tires are crap and they don't remove them. I only found two center caps but I got some from another member a while back so I'm good. I pulled my back Sunday with a hammer, high lift, and some pry bars removing the tires. Now I have to find a place to dispose of them. I cleaned the rims last night so they get a good seal and probably thursday my 12 year old son will learn how to mount a tire while daddy's back gets a rest! I have a set of yokohama geolanders A/Ts I got a while back so now my pathfinder will have a set of summer tires. Still testing the airsoft balancing. I think I put too much in my Dynapros. James
  21. https://ruggedrocksoffroad.com/nissan-pathfinder-high-output-alternator-c-38_1147.html?osCsid=n221r0ppaighdu0e6pht2lepi7 I've heard good things about these. James
  22. I've been running the Dynapro M/Ts for three years now. They are holding up great. James
  23. Scored a second set of legos from the pick a part! $70 and they are cleaner than the set I have already. James
