  1. thanks, now you can see why I want to put in a extra cooling fan....
  2. So here is a video after much waiting; hope you all like it; you will notice alot of input from some of my buddies....
  3. Any ideas? My buddy took some videos and put them on facebook then deleted them off his camera, i want to get them on here....
  4. $15,000 So they want us to pay for the development and prototype and then they will make them by the masses and sell them for loads of profit.... all you would get is 1 stinkin exhaust kit out of it.... I would rather go to a custom exhaust shop and get a totally custom made exhaust for $300.
  5. Went wheeling with some buddies again today and went through this real nasty swamp/mud pit; here are some pics I took and my friends have some more and vids of me going through the pit; will post them up as they come. The ones with my hood up are after I came through the pit, I ran my engine/tranny real hard but made it out no problem. My hood is obly up to let my engine cool off, I think I am goig to get a aux fan to help with cooling now that my winch is in my grill. My rock slider came in real handy and saved me a couple times today and kept a tree from taking out my doors, bounced me right off it.
  6. I must say this is the missing link was needed, I put my pathy on the lift today and changed the oil and flushed the transmission, while up there I sprayed the bolts down with some PB blaster and they came right out with a impact gun no problem. Put the link in and tightened the bolts down and put a K&N filter in took it out for a test drive, let me tell you it handles corners so much better, there is way less body sway and everything feels much tighter. I would recommend this link to anyone who has a SFD or anyone who doesn't, I am taking my pathy out for some fun Sunday afternoon and let you know how it handles on the trail. So far I believe it has been the best $50 I have spent on a simple piece of metal that bolts on and changes the quality of your whole ride in a good way.
  7. 6" lift (4" SFD made by Krypton Fabrications + 2" lift coils) custom rear coils Rancho RS5000 shocks (rear) KYB Gas struts 34x10.5x15 TSL Super Swampers
  8. just memorize your going 4 mph faster than your odometer is reading, thats what I do but it is 5mph with me because of my tires. I just watched my odometer and gps concurrently and figured out how much faster I am going.
  9. might as well go split poly bushings, no needing to be pressed in and they will last alot longer too.
  10. I just took a piece with me and matched the diameter up to some new tubing at the parts store.
  11. And this is the beginning of a addiction.... welcome to the club.
  12. I had that same noise a little back, it was the pulley on my A/C compressor, I ended up changing the compressor and it stopped.
  13. He wasn't, he was taking pictures of the experience; I think he liked it.
  14. lol that is my sisters fiances brother, he was stuck at her house while they were gone so I took him with me. Was the first time he went wheeling.
  15. So here are some pics of wheeling today, still waiting on my rear bumper.
  16. Well I finally got them welded on and oh do they look good, and just in time because tomorrow is gonna be my first wheeling of the new year and I put my 34's back on.... I had enough of the 33 A/T's. I will post up some pics when I am done as it was too dark tonight and see if I can use my winch tomorrow and test it out. Now I am just waiting on a rear bumper to show up and exo cage is in the horizon.
  17. And if you dont feel ubcomfortable with taking it completely out then KRFabs makes some quick disconnects for the rear sway bar so you can connect it back when your done. I have had mine out for awhile now and don't see myself putting it back with the disconnects but to each their own.
  18. Taking it out creates ALOT of flex/articulation. I haven't had mine in for 4 years now, and I just beefed up the front swaybar with some Moog swaybar end links. Having the sway bar connected limits your flex.....
