  1. So how many people would be interested and when would you have the money to get this done?
  2. Finally got my SFD in this morningafter waiting about 22 days for it to go through customs and get to my door, so this weekend I am going to be busy..... I have the 4" SFD to put in along with I need to replace my passenger side cv axle, both rotors and new pads, I also need to put in new upper strut mounts on both sides because they are aqueeking and I heard it is a sign of them going out and I do not want that so I am replacing both of them; and I ordered Mile Marker manual hubs but those won't be in until the end of april because I guess they are back ordered nationally. I will keep you updated.
  3. I am making a appointment with my fabricator to discuss making them, like I said I do not have enough money to cover the cost of these items. I am going to look into getting a exact price on everything that way I can have some exact number to throw at you, what I quoted earlier was a pretty good guestimate.... I will update as soon as I do some more research. I am just wondering how many people would be interested or if I would just be spinning my wheels, because this is alot of money if you think about it....
  4. After doing some quick pricing the total would come out to be $1,150+- total for a complete SFD package and this is not including the steering u-joint and linkage/extension. It would include the SFD, rear springs, extended brake lines (there are 3; two up front and one in the rear the two front are $60 a piece and the rear is $70), Pro Comp ES 9000 shocks, and shipping. Again I could get this whole package together but I do not have the money to cover everything, I would be willing to set you up with my email and phone numbers (personal and work) and would give a copy of my Drivers License for your trust. Let me know who would be interested and for the breakdown it would be: SFD - $500 brake lines - $190 shocks - $37 springs - $278 shipping - $145+-
  5. I agree with you, I can look up the prices fro everything needed and will post it here when I get it later on, It would take about a month to get everything together thought because the springs have to be made and that takes 3 weeks by itself.... If you are willing to give me the money up front I could order everythiong and get it sent out to you as soon as I get it or in a whole package so you would just have to pay one flat shipping rate. Either way I wuill look into assembling the whole kit and the cost; the only thing will be getting the steering u-joint and spacer/linkage that extends it and needs to be welded. Let me know who would be interested and we could work out a deal. Maybe more to come in the future also if I can get this put together.
  6. No problem, this kit was actually meant for me but it wasn't going to be built in time so I got one off of Shift220 (which I believe is not making anymore), so I am selling this kit. All the other parts such as brake lines could be ordered locally and you wouldn't have to pay shipping and you need to order the springs anyways for this kit like I did; the only other thing is the steering extension/u-joint and you just need to get the extra u-joint and weld a piece of metal between the u-joint and stock steering bracket. There is information in this forum on how to make them and it isn't that hard.... maybe $20 of welding at a local shop.... I had to piece my kit together myself, you aren't going to find a "complete" kit anywhere and the parts aren't that hard to find.
  7. The shipping would be around $50. You would just need to get rear coil spacers or custom coils along with longer shocks like from a 2000 F250, brake lines which you could get locally made for $50-70 a piece, steering linkage extension but there are sticky's in the forum to show you how to make it. The kit comes with: (four) 4" SFD brackets (two) 4" motor mount spacers (two) 4" strut spacers (one) panhard bar drop bracket All are Tig welded
  8. My friend here in NH owns and operates a machine/welding/fab shop and he put together a reinforced version of the SFD that is 4"... It has the SFD brackets that he reinforced, strut spacers, motor mount spacers, and a panhard bar drop that I am selling fro him; PM me for a price and estimate on shipping. Note this is not a complete package but the brackets and main core pieces.
  9. Will these fit? It is a toal of $99 for the pair and they are 28 spline 6 bolt....... http://www.race-mart.com/items/products/mile-marker/MLM435-detail.htm
  10. as long as they are 6 bolt 28 spline they should work right?
  11. as long as they are 6 bolt 28 spline they should work right?
  12. No one has the $100 hubs, just $150+ and shipping..... anyone have anywhere else to look or does anyone have a pair they would sell?
  13. I need some manual locking hubs (28 spline) for my pathy; anyone know a good place to get some and cheap? I found a pair for $159+free shipping cheapest.....
  14. When I am turning going a slow speed or when I am just stopped and turning the wheels.... It sounds like a bushing or rubber on rubber type squeeking sound...... I still have no clue what it is.... I have checked out both upper strut mounts also known as "strut bearings" and they seem to be fine, the strut looks brand new except for the dirt on it.... I'm kind of stumped....
  15. I have 31x10.5x15 Goodyear mud terrains on some rims I got off Craigslist that were meant for a 4runner... I don't exactly know the offset but I believe its -4.5" because they stick out pretty far.... I have some 33x13.5x15 TSL Super Swampers to put on once I have the SFD...
  16. Hit me up with a price also and I can see what I can do...
  17. Tmorgan made custom 4links which extended them 2" longer to re center the tire and prolly had a custom drive shaft made.
  18. What size tires are you running right now, and what are you going to?
  19. LOL $20 and a pressure washer at the local car wash and it was clean
  20. What did you do with your 4link? Leave it stock?
  21. Found a new class VI road down the street from my house and this si the result; also it looks like my SFD is ready to put in so I know what I am doing this weekend and will post pics as soon as I take them.
  22. How do I find out if this is the problem? How hard is it to fix and what does it entail? Are you talking about the upper strut mount also known as the strut bearing? I just replaced this when I put in the 2" lift with the KYB struts... I pu t these in about 3 months ago they shouldn't already be going out should they?
