You're telling me!
-
Cool! I'll be lifted on Friday.
-
That looks like a totally different bumper than the one mentioned in a previous thread about KMA bumpers. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=11270 Looks like the 99.5-2004's have a different style than the 96-99's according to their website. Wouldn't the later year style just mount up to my 98 just fine?
-
That KMA bumper does look nice. Can you post up some more pics of that bumper up close? What did you end up paying total?
-
Kinda of nice to have been apart of that exchange....

I recall seeing TrailChaser's thread about the in car camera mount. Wasn't there a pic of his seats and I believe they were Nismo's too? They look similar to the ones in the auction?
-
People inflate shipping costs all the time on ebay. Mostly because Ebay only takes their fees out from the final bid NOT including shipping. Thats why you'll see tons of auctions on Ebay with a .01 Buy Now and 24.99 shipping cost...Item probably costs 20 bucks and they are only getting charged the Ebay fees based on the .01 final bid. I believe it works out to be 3-5% of .01.

So you want to lift your 96-up Pathy?

I figure I'd add this tidbit. Get your longer Rancho's from Amazon.com. I ordered mine a couple of weeks ago and they sell the RS99116's for like $76 a piece. AC sells them for $75 but then you get nailed with their inflated shipping charges. Amazon offers free shipping AND when I ordered them they were having a promotion for $30 off any auto parts purchase over $99. So i ended getting them for $122 and change, shipped to me in 3 days. Can't beat that. Camber bolts can be found cheap at Summit Racing. SummitRacing $8.95 a piece/$17.90 a pair compared to the $30 a pair AC sells them for. -
That thing looks CLEAN!
-
Congrats on your R50 purchase!
-
LOL thats what I thought but I recall reading somewhere at some point that it should be done.
-
How many bolts did you end up buying? I've heard some people not needing any, some people picking up 2(1 per side), and some using 4(2 per side). Found some Ingalls from Summit that are a pretty good deal. Summit Racing

I am planning to do the rears myself and have someone do the fronts. From what I've read it should be relatively simple. Question: Is a rear alignment necessary after doing the rear? I know it is up front when installing the lift but what about the back?
-
So was it the 97 that had the evap system under the hood? I ran into that code also and dealt with it contantly for a year before finally discovering the fix. Turns out my vent control valve inside the canister was stuck open throwing the p1440 code indicating an EVAP leak. I took the canister out and sprayed wd40 on the rusty valve and manually activated the valve via a hot wire and saw that it was closing and opening properly. Its been almost two years and the light hasn't come on since.
-
Got it.
-
Do you plan on removing the rest of the front bumper? Or mounting the new one beneath the existing piece like shown in the picture? I think it would look good if you removed it.
-
Hmm never seen a lowered wd21 before. Being a former owner of a lowrider, I can't say it looks terrible but I agree that lowered a 4wd is a waste.

Well I thought I had posted some templates in this thread. But I guess not? Since I work at a printing press now, I can print up these cards on high quality card stock. However, since its a club I'm apart of, and not solely for personal use, I don't think my discount can apply. But here they are.

So what did you use for the vacuum ports?
-
My only concern is I'm unsure what the diameter of the vacuum ports on the civic intake are...I read on the pathfinder, they are 5/8".(Can someone verify this?) These possibly look smaller than that just looking at the picture.
-
So been wanting to do this for years now..replace the plastic S-bend intake pipe with a straight one. I've seen pics of people who've done this but I haven't been able to find out where they got it. I've read through some AC posts about people cutting out the middle of a civic intake pipe which does contain two vacuum ports. So is that all that is attached to the stock intake pipe? Just 2 vacuum hoses? I'm thinking this intake for a 99 civic, might do the trick. There is a 3rd port on this civic intake that you can see in the pic on the backside but I think if I cut it off right before it, and cut off the other end, it'll work. Any thoughts? I haven't had a chance to measure out exactly the length I need to make this work, unless someone already knows/has.
-
This is the same for R50's assume? This week its been down to -20F and in the mornings when I drive to work and I disengage my Ebrake, the light still remains on. It won't be until around lunch time before the light will come off. Just a nuisance more than anything.
-
Another reason to get the TJM! That snow bank would have been a sno cone with the TJM. LOL.

What if it was an R50??? :o lol
