    i believe you are refering to 'backlash'. you need some, but not too much. and the pinion shaft has shims not a crush sleeve.

    I just D&T into the sprocket then use a puller, faster and easier.

    yea son, use a pair of them there vise grips to bust the hell outta the plastic, then grab that there remaining part an twist that bitch off. then polish off that shaft there. remember to apply some that whaddyacallit, uhhh antiseize. yea there yah go boyahh.

  21. no, gl-5 contains sulfur, a lubrication additive. Our syncro's are made with brass and/or bronze, sulfur corrodes and eats away at bronze.
