  1. yea, the only things you have to remove is the driveshafts, trans/transfercase, pressure plate and clutch disc and flywheel. no oil pan removal.
  2. yea, easy way? get 30% larger injectors and it'll run decent. remember you also get worse fuel milage. all in all, it aint worth it.
  3. nah, i know what my intake noise sounds like. this is coming from my right front wheel area. its definately a tea kettle noise and its some times becomes an intermittent noise when i unload that wheel at low speeds. i think im going to pull the brakes all apart and see if i find anything.
  4. yea, i took the wheel off and looked. the brakes are fine, baking plate good. and the hub was not hot or anything. i have no clue.
  5. Hey guys, I'm getting this weird high pitched screech coming from the front right wheel. (people tell me it sound like a tea kettle going off) it starts at a few mph then quits at like 10-15mph. I know its not the brakes because thats just not the kind of noise it is. I dont know if the hubs are dry or something. anyone run into this sort of thing. looks like turning does not affect the noise.
  6. did you check all the fuses, once on a customers car, it was throwing that code and it was a fuse. i cant remember which one it was.
  7. hell, like i said, i do home alignments for caster and camber too. not a big deal if you know how to do math like a 6th grader.
  8. starter relays are also known to take a @!*%.
  9. i always align everything myself. its the only way to get an accurate alignment. those laser alignment machines have ****** accuracy.
  10. well, it should be changed every 60k. but i would definately change it at 90k. i've seen them go 200k+ before, dont could on it making it much past 90k.
  11. yea, not enough room for those gigantic dual cam heads.
  12. even if it doesnt fit, make it fit. hammer in the inner lip on the fenders or something.
  13. aint nothin wrong with that. you transfering to WL? or staying in indy?
  14. oh cool, you go to west lafayette? or are you an alumni in indy(just guessing)?
  15. yes.... i am... how did you know?
  16. i think we should do a midwest meet. what do you guys think would be a good spot to go? i'm down for attica since thats where the purdue gang goes.
  17. im so down for that.
  18. yes it is possible, but the 300zx manifolds place the turbo behind the cylinder heads. no room back there in a pathy. worth the effort? No, a better idea probably would be a supercharger off of a new xterra or frontier.
  19. pinnzoil syncromesh is great stuff too, i use that in my pathy and all my other cars and trucks.
  20. change the starter though your right wheel well, easy as pie.
  21. huh? 28 isnt low. i run 26 in the summer and 28 in the winter months on my 31's.
  22. for both diffs and t/c use 75w-90 gear oil, for the tranny use dextron 3/ mercon if its an auto, if its a stick use gl-4 transmission fluid. i have used penzoil syncromesh, redline mtl, and mobil one syncro something or another, just make sure its a gl-4 lubricant and not a gl-4/5 lube.
  23. for gods sake, its a 15 year old truck. what do you want it to do?
