Just take the plastic trim off the A-pillar, and you'll see the plugs for the tweeters. Unplug them there.

You answered your own question, Adam. STOCK system. The stock amps don't put out enough power to blow the tweeters. I believe they started the tweeters along with the roof speakers in 92 or 93....but I'm not 100% sure on that.

It all depends on how it was installed. If the factory amps were bypassed, chances are the tweeters were as well. If the aftermarket headunit is running through the stock amps, then chances are they're still in the loop.

Actually, that's a Superwinch. Not too bad for the price. And a hell of a lot better than the Costco "Champion" winches available a little under that price. For you Americans, Princess Auto is not as it sounds. It's actually quite a store......all kinds of goodies available there. They remind me, from some people's description, of Harbour Freight.

I had a similar problem... As it turns out, one of the headlights (can't remember which) is grounded through the DRL module. I spliced that ground out, and ran it straight to the battery. Problem solved.

Check the ground to the distributor. Also replace the cap and rotor.

The additional grounding isn't always necessary. I ran mine with that type of setup, without additional grounding for a few years with no issues. It's a matter of testing it out, long and short distances to ensure you've got good transmit, and receive clarity and range.

Something like this....

GL-4. To get the fluid out, simply take out the drain plug at the bottom. It'll all come out. To put 5L in, I always did mine through the shifter hole. Much easier than jacking up the passenger side of the truck...

You can get a clamp on antenna mount, and put it on one of the horizontal bars on the carrier. Running the antenna wire can be done through the tail light hole in the truck. Then just run between the tail light, and the hatch.

FINALLY!!! got past it with an Injected V6 under the hood....
