  1. Here, let me help you out with the spelling on that... T...O...Y...O...T...A...sly Why are you able to swear? I will try it again.............. @!*%ota. Oh, come on V6, it's not like he's saying the name of a domestic manufacturer. Toyota's are good vehicles. Now, H E E P, on the other hand................ -alcohol-
  2. I knew the spelling Nazi would catch that one. Oh yeah, I'm in for a sticker or 2 as well. I like the one with the tire, but it won't be cheap, as it can't be die cut. That would have to be printed.
  3. Sweet, I know isht!!!! :cool2:
  4. Fish oil you say? I was thinking of putting some oil (motor oil?) into my sprayer and just spraying it into the inside of the frame rails to keep the rust from eating it's way through from the inside? Any thoughts?
  5. Right beside the link to start a new topic, there's a link for a new poll. If you put in your poll options in the box provided, on separate lines, I believe the board software automatically puts the bullets beside them for selecting answers. Someone chime in here if I'm wrong, but I think that's it.
  6. That's one way of looking at it!!! I was thinking more along the lines of the rust killing my truck before the engine gives up. That's a bad thing in my books.
  7. I'm concerned about my frame on my 95, as I've heard about the steel problems, and I live in Canada, with the snow and salt. I've checked the frame, and so far everything still seems solid. I basically tapped around with a hammer to see if everything sounded solid, no soft spots. I have some surface rust, which is to be expected. My question is, I'm thinking of POR15-ing the entire frame, and floor of my truck. I will prep it properly, then coat everything. Will this help stop the frame from rotting, or will it just rot from the inside where I can't reach? Any ideas?
  8. I have the download on my FTP server at home. PM me for the link. Anyone here is welcome to it, I just don't want to post my FTP information and end up way over my UL quota. My upload speed isn't that fast, but it's steady, and reliable for the most part. BTW, it's a 43Mb zip file, so any dialup guys beware.

    Ethanol

At our Sunoco stations here, they have ethanol blended. I have had no adverse effects using it. It's not any cheaper, but I find it gives me more power. I heard that Sunoco had the cleanest gas, so maybe that's why it feels more peppy when I fill at Sunoco.
  10. Well, I guess I was wrong in assuming my plastic one was a Nissan part. Oh well. The smoked plastic looks good, and the wing seems durable enough. I assume mine's the aftermarket type as well, as my risers are attached to the hatch, and not the window hinges. I guess, with Canadian climate, I'm happy it's not another thing to rust!!!!
  11. I find this strange. Most people have talked about their spoilers being metal. Mine's from a Nissan dealership here, and it's plastic. It's tinted black. Was it only plastic on the 95's?
  12. I have the NGK one, and it was direct fit. I got it for $75CDN through a friend. It was like $90 without his discount, but still, not as much as the Bosch.
  13. Well, I plan to fix the AC eventually. Need a new condensor. Just waiting until after my wedding, when I have some more $$$. Then I'll put the belt back on.
  14. That's a really old picture. It was filthy. That was taken right after a camping trip. My truck was used as the music machine, so the doors were open, hence the ashes all through it. Not to mention the coffee spilled in the dust collector. That wasn't due to the cupholder, but a large bump I hit on the way home, as I was grabbing the coffee out of the holder.... -alcohol-
  15. I got a dual cupholder, that's adjustable, at Wal-Mart for $8 CDN that helps with that situation. It sits between the shift boot, and the dust collector under the hand brake. (mine's stick). I just screwed it into the floor with a couple of self tapping screws, and the cupholder issue was solved.
  16. I took my AC belt off a while ago, with no adverse, or positive effects. I simply took it off because my AC doesn't work anyhow, and I was trying to see which belt was squeaking. I'd leave it on there, just because there's no real benefit to taking it off, as far as I can tell.
