  1. I didn't say anything Go 2dr Adam... They just look right Although I've got both I couldn't really put one over the other (Except the 4dr is an unreliable PIMA )
  2. Hey Kittamaru We do have a section for Resolution of disputes, I'll move it there for you. Have you Pm'ed Pathrider or a mod/admin about this? I hear B is great at sorting out these things We are here to help get problems resolved as quickly and as painlessly as possible. TNZ
  3. There seem to be a few of these in NZ, 6-8mm alloy, it's got some scratches now
  4. We have lost a brother. Very sad news indeed. I offer my condolences to his family and friends, my thoughts to him and my thanks for having known him RIP man
  5. Must be either for people who can't figure out how to disconnect the torque converter (I was one) Or for those clutch jobbies
  6. You've done this on a Pathfinder? I want video Yes sadly. I went with hauling the engine out, seemed easier. BTW when you pull the rear main out, clean off the oil and let it sit for a while you may find what I did. Sump gasket leaking too. See pic #2. Do you have the FSM? You don't need to drop the front diff as you've got an auto, just unbolt the torque converter through the starter hole Feel free to PM me if you need anything else Also get one of these in 14mm for the bell housing bolts, they are GOLD http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?P65=&tool=&item_ID=5028&group_ID=545&store=&dir=catalog I intend to make one out of a cheap ratchet spanner
  7. Yep, BTW before removing the top half of the intake to track down an air leak... Replace that one Voice of experience
  8. Looks close to a daihatsu terios
  9. Sounds a little like what my old 88 did, though she played up after about 3min driving. I thought it was a vac line as she'd run fine for about 3min then loose all power and die, wouldn't restart till she sat for about 10 min. Nursed her home then got the IGN signal code out of the ECU. I didn't have a spare TBI coil so I risked a MPFI one. Vroom, ran like a champ again. Know anyone close that you could borrow their coil for a couple of hours?
  10. Yes you are backward, the square ones need changing @ 60,000ish km and the round ones are at 100,000ish km.
  11. HOLY CRAP Over $450. Wonder how much to send one of my floors to you lol.
  12. 1: Sorry can't help with the belt (All 3 I've done have stayed still ) You could try a cam lock type bar? I'm sure it has a proper name. Just did a quick search and how about this idea? A zip tie should work for the cams anyway. 2: There is no gasket for the T-stat according to the FSM, just liquid gasket. (12-15 ftlbs) 3: Can't help there as I'm an auto guy
  13. Here's some info that may be useful http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=17624&st=0&p=288240&hl=big%20block&fromsearch=1entry288240
  14. In all seriousness, I wouldn't waste my time with transplanting a TD27.... If your going to the trouble, ZD30DDTi (170BHP/353Nm). More pony's and torques than a QD32 (150BHP/333Nm).
  15. No wonder it's running rough, looks to me like you fried your injector wiring harness. Might want to check the coil out too.
  16. Damn I guess no pudding for me tonight. I'm starting to wonder if Terrano's (Japanese) had 2 more ponys
  17. How do you get more power per litre? VG30 155hp/248Nm, TD27T 100hp/215Nm How much time have you spent working on them? The 2 I've done a bit of work on are every bit a PITA that the VG's are.
  18. I speak for the V6 side here, maybe Pete will chime in with his opinion of the diesels. Being that your in NZ and pay for road users and rego is $100 more expensive than a petrol, cost is a factor. Though I guess you have that already. I like the V6, lots of go, quiet...ish, I find them easier to fix. Bad things about the V6, Drinks fuel (I get about 500km on a tank :AUTO), they don't swim too well Mine being auto tends to bog down a little on the soft stuff. Hope that helps a little
  19. Maybe I should of done that instead of getting all carried away with rebuilding the engine.... Sigh Here's my thread http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=17624&st=0&p=288240&fromsearch=1entry288240 Top job
  20. LSD's are ok, but they are no locker. My 93 V6 auto has an LSD out of a 94 Diesel manual 4:8 ratio.
  21. That's how I read it too... Might just be a little miscommunication at the dealers
  22. Yeah, these were the ones I was thinking of http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Cars/Nissan/auction-271882872.htm
