  1. Toyota Landcruiser What distributor? The only 4cyl to come out in a Landcruiser is diesel. Well done B, about everything I was going to say Same reason why I need one.. Just to add, the engine was still running, I shut it off when I wasn't moving and had the hood under water. After removing all the plugs she spat a bit out. I was lucky
  2. The Red's ahve been busy lol

  3. Some people only hear about Americans when it's something dumb (like suing for turning on cruise control and getting up to make a sandwich in your RV) For the most part Americans are great people David, are you a real hobbit? No TV..... Thought you were from th US, not middle earth k/k man Getting back on topic though, WTF is up with their website? You guy's gimmie shet for being upside down, at least I'm not 90 degrees out
  4. Wouldn't be a Pathfinder commercial without it They no love me Must not like Kiwi's
  5. I knew I shoulda paid attention when I wired in my alarm I'll have a hunt around tomorrow when I'm more awake
  6. WRONG Hell when I towed Dog over 800km I never disconnected the drive shaft, yes the torque converter packed up, but that couldn't have been anything to do with towing. If it was there would have been damage inside the trans, and it was mint. Each to their own.
  7. *ponders what part of profile to change first* MWAHAHAHAHAHA

  8. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=16428&st=40 Last post on that page I'm getting really got at removing the engine Good luck.
  9. That sucks man You can't repair it/put another engine in?
  10. True, but sometimes things look to bad to be a coincidence Old work mate rebuilt his Subaru engine, put Magnatec oil in... Bottom end crapped out. Talked to a local race engine re builder who asked if he was running Magnatec. James said "How did you know?" Guy points to 7 Subaru engines on the ground waiting for rebuilds after running Magnatec
  11. Vix has no engine and no cat. Ok the cat does work... Removing hydrocarbons from exhaust gasses. But it does nothing for carbon dioxide and running a cat releases nitrous oxide which is far worse than co2 as far as green house gases go. How about the mining of platinum and palladium? Very eco friendly that is If I had the resources that some groups do I'm sure I could convince the world that not running blinker fluid would kill puppies. I guess I'm a bit of a conspiracy theorist when it comes to such things. We just phased out all wet back fire here in Ch-ch because of our "smog"..... WE LIVE IN A FREAKIN BOWL. Of course it'll fill up with smoke Thanks for the adult debate B
  12. OK, Who the f#@k said the "C" word and got B's panties in a bunch? I'm an asshat then B. Ok there is no engine in my white truck, but still. Did I remove it for hp? No. Did I remove it because I hate the environment? No. Did I remove it because my exhaust doesn't get up to temp on my drive to work? Yes. There is just far too many #$$@&$#@%'s out there scare mongering about what is good and bad. I don't believe one more than the next. They all seem full of shet. I don't know who to believe, I don't see how anyone could Not that I'm completely disagreeing with you, but just because someone removes a little thing from their car, they are treated like a rapist.
  13. They will collect water/mud no matter what way they are, but does it make any difference? really. I ripped my boots off as mud was starting to rust them up.
  14. IMPORTANT: Make sure that it's only the RMS that's leaking. I only say this because when I did mine a while ago it was the sump gasket that was leaking as well. Lucky for me I caught it before the engine went back in.
  15. You putting a shift kit in the new one? Do it.
  16. I've done both each with pros and cons Remove transfer: Lighter, but you need to remove the shifter and cover to undo the bolts on top. I would thoroughly recommend removing the torsion bars though either way
  17. Only steps 11 & 12 have to be done when the trans is out. I really think you won't notice the difference though
  18. I know of cars being repainted with rollers...Might be a better option for you IIRC it was JJbigshoe that posted something about it But you can spray can a Pathy, 23 cans IIRC
  19. Sounds like he's a jerk I've been burnt before, now I order stuff thoughtfully Sometimes 2 orders are cheaper than 1.
  20. I had a leak ages ago, fixed it with a new seal kit and cleaned up the slight pitting in the piston with a bit of 1200 gr wet and dry sand paper. Works great
  21. Towed for over 800km, only trouble I had was the cooling system wasn't good (overheated on hills).
