  1. The yellow started as a joke that i went to far with and decided that i liked it. Its Rustoleum Yellow!
  2. Well since we don't know where you live that will make it more difficult to help. i checked in Washington and there are about 10 available statring from 650 bucks and down. Search on WWW.car-parts.com
  3. Back when i first bought my Pathy, it started running crappy. I pulled the filter and it ran worse just as you discribe. i put a new air filter and it ran perfect. This being said, and i know you changed the filter, I would say it has somethign to do with your air to fuel mixture. did you get those little hoses reconnected at the back of the air filter housing? there are 2 of them that are a pain in the A$$ Good luck
  4. I've been told that its a a real pain in the A$$ The wire harness has tones of wires in it.. its about the size of a 50Cent picce
  5. i don't know what the deal is, sometimes they show, sometimes they don't.
  6. i finally got some pics that i could post. None of them are that good and i've actually even wheeled it a little bit. When i get back home i'll get some more pics and post.
  7. Yes, you have to change the wiring harnes as well as the ecu.
  8. well, you all should keep your schedules open end of april.. lets keep in touch and we can all get together.. anybody got a winch?
  9. The shocks i have are actually built for a F350 super duty. they are great!
  10. I'm heading out of town on sunday for about 1 month. When i get back i gotta install my front gears and locker and get my driveline built.. then i'll be ready to rock. The pathy is drivable.. i took her for a little 2 wheel action last night... drives great!
  11. meanwhile back at the ranch... I have some axle shafts that are in good shape, complete if anybody is interested. drivers and passengers side. I'd be willing to sell each for say 20 bucks plus shipping. IM me if interested
  12. i'm looking for some guys to go riding with. anybody in the Kent/ puyallup area?
  13. On my 87 with manual hubs, if the hubs were locked, i could shift into 4 high up to about 50mph with no issues. on my 2000 frontier with auto hubs anything over about 20 mph made griding sounds in the xfer case. i belive this is due to the auto hubs not being engaged and the gears trying to mesh with a non turning gear. But on the manual hubs the front drive line is actually turning same speed as the rear thus, the gears are tuning the same speed. Make your own conclusion
  14. all your shock needs and information. don't concern yourself with loop holes size as they come with all adaptors you may need. http://www.explorerprocomp.com/PDFs/ProCompCatalog2005.pdf
  15. i never thought of that,,, thats a great idea! know i know how to fill in all my gaps form the lift
  16. yep what he said, same thing when i did my 87 that oil filter is in the way
  17. did you replace the rotor as well? did you check the gap on the new plugs before installing them? if so, possible MAF sensor it sounds like a spark issue to me though
  18. yep what he said,, @!*% it only costs 20-30 bucks to have it resurfaced I can tell from the color in the pic that you SHOULD have in turned
  19. Ya down your way. Question about the patrol axles. i was looking at one that was lifted with about 35s on in, LPG conversion when i was working in new Castle. the front axle is Knecked down right before the C going to the outer knuckles. Is this on all patrols and if so, is it a problem? -study-
  20. Vsicks, Just currious, I didn't know the patrols had driver side drop. What year did they have the drivers side drop? maybe if i read the entire thread i'd have noticed whay you said... oops
  21. patrol axles have the drop on the wrong size. as far as sas... Waggy would be the cheapest and easiest. go leaf springs ford bronco.. the HP on the bronco is very close to center and you might have problems with the oil pan. also in order to get disk brakes on your pathy with a ford conversion you would have to use full width. then you have to change the rear end too. ford didn't put disk brakes on them till 76 i believe. the full width axles won't cause oil pan problems cause the diff is a little bit more on the drivers side.. just like an inch or so
  22. I thought that the coil rate was a combination of teh wire thickness used for the coils and the distance between the coils. if you ever look at varaible rate coils, the coils are closer together at the top than they are at the bottom..
  23. its called the acherman angle. All vehicles have it to some degree, its cause in a turn, your inside tire has a tighter radius than the ouside tire. But it should be screatching, could be just a bit out of wack.
  24. i take it you broke the little plastic thing htat actually holes it on.. ya, when you find one let me know, i broke mine 10 years ago and have still to find a replacement
