Ok took the car in to get the SAS done. Then i get a call the next day saying that i cant be fixed. And the reason for that is the chasis is snaped in half. They couldnt belive that 1. It didnt fall appart from me driving it and 2. pedders never picked it up when they did thier report. So now that is it. No more can be done for her. I now have to try and ring my insurance company and see if i can make a claim

How much do you reckon idd be looking at to do something like yours V6?? And thats considering i wont be doing any of the work myself. And mine has the same ratio as yours. HG46

can you not just change the frount axle???
-
Hmmm this could be a problem. As im over hear in australia these jeep and ford axles may be hard to come by. Thanks for the replies so far

Ok without going into it the best option for fixxing my 91 pathy is a SAS. I did try and do a search on here but couldnt find much i wanted. I have no knowledge so i will be paying for someone to do it all. So what i mainly want to know is what would be the best axle to swap it with??

ok took it into a suspension place today and EVERY bushing is shot. but thats not the bad news my frount diff support bar it broken and that will cost $1400 just for the part. all my suspension is rooted including torsion bar. All up the damadge report is just over $4000 So i am gonna have to sell her off for parts and get another truck. This time i aint getting a bloody import
-
yeah but if i take off the sway bar and have a crash my insurance wont cover me
-
yeah i might just have to order a set from the states
-
im in australia and we dont have any of those stores lol
-
got the bushings today but couldnt get any high tensional bolts in the right size or the special washers
-
so you just got the bolts from the hardware store. Are they strong enough???
-
well obivosly there is some other damage then becuase the handling fells SOFT and the tires arnt strait. the tie rod doesnt seem bent though
-
ok here is what i have managed to break The bolt u see should be extended to where i have drawn it in (but as you can see i snapped it). And it should pull the centrelink down. Would this cause the tire to be slightly pigieon toed
