Considering you can hold the piece of metal you're welding with your bare hand. I don't think it's an issue. Not too close to the metal obviously lol.

I dont care what oil it is I change it at 5k km. My old pathy didn't get to well over 450k by itself. Amsoil is great but i cannot justify 15 dollars a litre price.

Mine still shakes after messing with everything. It's fairly irritating to watch and everyone who rides in it points it out and thinks its going to fly off.

Fwiw I run 5w30 all year round in mine and it does just fine in the winter. We are pretty much the same as you temp wise anyway.

I've welded quite a few pathfinder frames without unplugging anything, and never had any problems. But maybe I'm just a lucky guy...

I would say it's your tires, what tires are you running? Usually speed related shakes are balance related.

All that aftermarket collision stuff is junk. My pathy had an aftermarket corner, turn signal, and headlights. I've slowly been replacing them with high quality pre owned factory parts, that still look better after 20 years than the probably not even 10 year old aftermarket.

Both my 95s and my buddy's all had/have 2 cats. The smaller one in front is a precat. I just replaced it with an aftermarket intermediate pipe and it came without the pre cat. No codes since it's obd1. All you need is the main cat. Please don't be one of those retards who runs no cats. As for mufflers I got annoyed by the sound my dynomax one makes so I bought a new muffler and tailpipe from crappie tire to put on. The muffler doesn't affect power as much as the headers and y pipe.

I would say just switch it and see what happens.

There is a thread on here where a guy swapped a two door frame onto his 4 door body.

The exhaust does make a huge difference. I'm running the pacesetter headers (crap quality btw) and I get around 17-19 mpg even with my 33s.

You can safely bump it up a little higher if you want I am running mine around 20. No noise and it seems to get better mileage and have a bit more pep. Obviously it might fail emissions though.

I'm betting they damaged one of the abs sensors or the wires.

That's terrible mileage. Sounds like it needs a tune up or o2 sensor... Sometimes o2 sensors can be lazy enough to make it not set the engine light but still hurt performance.

The wd21 came with atf in the power steering btw.
