  1. There is actually a tray that sits in to prevent drinks from spilling but everyone seems to lose them like the sunroof covers.
  2. Mine did that its like the truck is struggling at lower speeds in highest gear. Turns out I needed to replace plugs/wires/cap/rotor because it had a miss under load.
  3. I accidentally bought those at the dealer when I was looking for the floor boot, and they were only 7-8 dollars a piece IIRC.
  4. Sounds like the alternator to me. Mine used to sound like that when I had some white box reman replacement in there. Fan clutch doesn't make that sound.
  5. Could always drop in a VG33E (96-00 pathfinder or 00-04 xterra) which makes 180hp and more if you do I/H/E. Or build a VG34. These would be more bolt on than a gm or jeep swap. The VG33 should be pretty easy to find what with nissan scrapping so many r50s due to strut tower rot.
  6. Fyi to tungsten, in an r50 the a/c and alt belts are 2 serpentine an the ps is a v belt. Its factory that way.
  7. Some people have other commitments (children maybe) and don't have time. Plus what if I prefer to drink my coffee in the truck in the morning. And who said anything about 800 cupholders. The wd21 has none, so why not ad 3 or for (2 for the rear passengers)...
  8. Might wanna take those flares off and see what's hiding under there!
  9. There is a set screw on the rotor that holds it in the right position.
  10. Holy crap that thing looks like it was sitting in a field. I've never seen that part of the frame rusted before. Mine was just at the back. The front you can still see the oem paint under the rustproofing. That thing looks like it was never rust proofed.
  11. not everyone is an "oem only" nazi like the tungsten. can't wait to see what the final product looks like.
  12. I agree. I have the same brace on mine and it has probably saved my steering while wheeling with the 33's. I still have the stock style CL but a beefed up idler arm with the bandit4x4 bronze bushings. I haven't had a problem with it yet but then again I try and take it slow on the trails. Since I just bought a new pathy I figure there is no point of installing the grassroots CL I bought on this truck so I will wait until the spring to put it on the new one.
  13. I'll try and get a video of mine with the 33's. When I'm able to get into the truck without pain.
  14. I agree with 93xe. Unless the wiring harnesses match (which I doubt because you know how they like to change things) you'll have to cut and splice. Which means if it doesn't work right or you don't like it, you'll have an even bigger mess and harder time trying to put an aftermarket one or the old oem one back in. This is how wiring rat nests begin!
  15. I melted part of my harness at the alternator. I don't know how or what happened but the only way I noticed was that in the rain my wipers moved real slow and at night I couldn't see because the lights were so dim. I was running a 90A maxima alt. It was charging just enough so that I could still drive. The stock harness is actually 2 wires soldered into 1 connector.
  16. You seem to be pretty handy with vehicles, could you not just beef it up with some metal and a welder? My dad got 5500 for his 2000 almost 2 months ago. His wasn't even that bad but they bought it from him anyway because he wanted to buy a new xterra.
  17. My dads old 00 r50 went to 240k on the original belt, belt looked new, but the water pump, one cam seal and the crankshaft seal were leaking.
  18. Check out rockauto. I wouldn't buy the junk that AZ or AAP sells.
  19. If you don't want to wait forever I know partsource and CT usually stock the boot kits, they are like 10 bucks.
  20. Lots of people run 33x10.5 on the legos.
  21. I know someone here with a pathy that put 33x12.5 on legos and it rubbed the tension rod mount. its the backspacing.
  22. The one I pulled off my 95 at 240k km's (with no signs of ever being changed) looked brand new and that was 80,000kms overdue. It was a nissan belt.
  23. Here is the inhibitor switch/range sensor as it is called. I did the adjustment I guess now its time to check the continuity. I know the linkage is fine because it is exactly the same as my other pathy right beside it that has no issues, and it goes into all gears properly when running. (I can jump the starter manually under the hood)
