how much of a pain in the arse are these front sway bushings to replace and about what should I expect to spend on em? and i know this sounds like a n00b question but i've been feeling pretty shatty here lately, is this worth having some shop do or should i just wait and do it myself?

the bolt pattern on the 05 and up frontys pathys and x's are a smaller diameter, short of putting those hubs and all on your truck its just not gonna happen...as far as I know, my suggestion would be to get the tires off and sell the rims to try and re coupe some of the expense.

ive got 265 70 16 on my 02 and the abs is just fine, have had to really take advantage of it a couple times to avoid idiots, you can definately feel them working too hehe

theres really nothing you can do about it, if its not displaying any ill behavior your probably fine, looking back when i first complained about that super loud clacking noise that went away in a couple miles, thats what it had to have been is that one missing screw "passing" if you find that you have one or more missing and are still biting your fingers about it then do a compression test on your motor and that will either alert you to a problem or give you back your piece of mind my motor passed one screw and it runs GREAT, others may not be as lucky as i was.

$150 bucks for plugs!! I also wonder what all that extra pressure would do as far as the timing and how the ecu would be able to compensate for that or would it cause problems. If it really does what it says it will its a cool idea, but I for one would need to hear about it for a while before i thought about it so whos gonna be the test rat?

mines become more consistent in the last few days, gotta get under her skirt this weekend to see if i can figure something out, need to change oil and tighten the belt anyhow.

i think ive run it to the gas light being on twice and it still took less than 20 gal, its probably just a bit of an added "safety" feature for the benefit of the stupid, by that i mean the people that gave us the idea for every movie where a vehicle runs out of gas in the middle of nowhere and there like @!*% i should have been able to get across the desert with 7 gallons....i cant believe this happened to me, then they get killed my psycos or flesh eating mutants...you know hehehe

does it make the noise when you go over a bump straight or when your turning the wheel or on uneven pavement, i just noticed that when cold if I pull my wheel both directions enough to rock the truck i get a light "clunk" i guess out of what sounds like the strut area, wondering if maybe its the mount or something needing to be replaced or maybe my struts just dead? doesnt feel excessively bouncy in the front though.

book says your intake tube and TB need to come off to get to that one problem plug (theres always one of those) however I found that its MUCH easier to get to all the plugs with the intake manifold out too, this will cost you 3 gaskets as well as the TB gasket that should be replaced anyway but it will also give you an opportunity to lock tight those pesky power valve screws <---- see related post in the pinned section. i changed my plugs while doing that and it was cake
