I'm also going this route very soon and have found which hub to use with the 02 but... I was told there was some slight modification to the rim on the 03 17", have any of you had to deal with this? I've got the stock 16" that came with the 02 SE.

I'd like to get that out of the way for the lift i'm going to do in the future, also I know the fuel savings are minimal but id like to save a little wear as I do way more street driving than dirt (unfortunately) I know its been done but for some reason I cant find the info I need. so any help would be awsome.

found two more brands of hub but one stops at 01 like warn and the other didnt list a year range and the companys e-mail is jacked up. what am I missing?

Well I sent an email to the guy that put hubs on his 03 asking which ones he used but I didnt see anything about which hubs to use for a 2002. Dig that Avatar too pezzy thats pretty cool

perhaps some other brand that i'm unaware of? between searching here and trying to google it, i'm pretty lost.

I've searched around and found lots of discussion about warn hubs but my problem is that I have an 02 and the warn part# 29091 premium locking hubs only goes to 01. I wrote the company and they have no plans of yet to produce one for the 02, what are you guys using or is there a different model # that will fit?

I also found the pic of Pezzys truck with the custom bumper and tank behind the tire, pmmed her also. i think the top idea would work better for me until I get a basket up there.

I didnt think of that either, the smaller palstic ones with the thicker base than top, thanks man maybe i'll try to rig some holder for a couple of those.

do the 03's come with a 17in rim? cause thats what those are, they wont fit a 16x7.5

Well, i'm in Oregon and whether I take out from Eugene (where I live) or Bend (where my brother lives) it could be quite a ways from any gas stations if I do it right. LOL Also since i'm here and i dont want to make a bunch of new posts I'm looking into the warn hubs for my 2002 and all I found are up to 01 here: Hubs are these what I want or do I need to get something else?

I'm learning quite a bit about whats available for the pathy and 4wheelin in general but one thing i'm running into is extra fuel for the long hauls into the mountains. I know if I had a basket on top I could use the metal jerry can mounts up there, but without it what are you guys doing about extra fuel? I have an 02 so theres no tire rack on the back and the liftgate opens up so that doesnt make much sense. I personally wont store fuel inside the back no matter what can I have, call me paranoid. anyone else run into this?

Whats wrong with the Haynes manual? I just ordered mine friday and am expecting it any time. is there anything specific you didnt like or just in general?

about those custom spacers, how do you go about getting those? do any of you have pics that someone else could use to have some made? also i've seen strut spacers and coil spacers, any of you ever try the latter on an 02 pathy?

and how foolish do I feel, this whole time I have been running under the assumption that I have 5 lug rims like the ranger and explorer.....I dont, its a 6 lug hahaha. I might be able to help my frind with a cherokee into the set with rims as they should fit his truck.

thats the other thing I was worried about, depending on what my tire shop guy tells me today I may or may not take one wheel off this weekend and see how things line up. The wheels are 2hours away at my brothers place so i havent even seen em yet. also, thanks for all the replies guys, in the past i've had to hang around a forum for quite a while to even get the time of day, this is cool

well I should add that they will be for winter tires, but I read that the largest tire for an r50 without a lift would be a 31x10.5 or approximate, I will def let you guys know though, should find out by this weekend.

I know that mustangs and maximas can share rims, but will the 15inch rim from a ranger/explorer fit an 02 pathy? Not 100% on the rim width but the tire on it is 30x9.5x15 anyone think that will work for me?

has anyone tried a different filter on the K&N setup like an AEM dry or Apexi?

That mount looks great, would that fit with the grill guard too?
