  1. so will you need to have 20 orders before they do anything for you or are they going to make one to make sure it works then want other orders? I would be interested in seeing pictures of the unit but more interested in seeing them installed.
  2. Ive been wondering about this for a while, definately interested in the results and the pictures
  3. with the front of your airbox open like that arent you worried at all about all that extra crap thats going to get in there?
  4. the tires on the 5" bs rim are the 275 60 16 toyo open country a/t they actually rub just the slightest bit less than they did when they were on the stock rims. wierd huh?
  5. well my new rims are 16x8 with a 5" backspace and i get the same rub as I did with the stock rims on the toyos. perhaps sometime this summer i'll play like i'm going to buy another set of wheels and have some test fit to see. lol My plan was to wait til i can get her lifted and sell the tires I have now to my brother for his new frontier or a friend of mine with a jeep so i could get something a little bigger then
  6. bookmarked! thank you
  7. i dont know if I just have a unique situation here maybe someone before i owned it replaced the parts with something a little shorter or crappier but i had a tire shop test fit the 31x10.5 on a 15 rim with the 3.75 back space and there was no way it would fit. my summer wheels on the black rims are toyo open country a/t 265 70 16 they only rub slightly when turning full left and going in reverse the winter wheels are DC mountain cats at 245 75 16 they dont rub at all the height of both are very near a 31 but width was my enemy. you may have to have them test fit some different sizes or you may get lucky. I hope for the latter but just so you know its not always a sure thing
  8. before you go with a bumper you might consider some armor, i got a large chunk of ice stuck over the U-joint on the front of the Tcase and i think beating that around might have caused a leak in that front seal. just something for you to think about
  9. The pics of the better write up arent working right now, has anyone here got pictures of their setup? especially R50's but i just want to get an idea of what i'll be looking at. Turbopath, are the early 90's maxima fans dual speed?
  10. wow, just watched a few, that is pretty nuts....i wanna play heh

    Which rims

thats gonna be almost half price, thanks man
  12. I agree that you would be better off with a SC setup, there are already kits for 350z and G35 although you would need a lot of cutom in between items to make it work it would be awsome to see something like this for a pathy, I would LOVE to do it myself.

    Which rims

where are you guys getting these prices? I was looking at schwab and their soft 8 ina 16x8 is $87 each if I can beat that pu-lease point me in the right direction!
  14. Well done man, that really looks good
  15. well today was fun, I spent 6 hours at the tire store: first attempt 15x8 rims with 3.75 backspace 31x10.50 15 mountaincat NO, rubbed like a madman. second attempt 15x8 rims same as above with 30x9.5 mountaincats too short! third attempt 15x8 chrome rims with 5" backspace wont clear the caliper so we finally ditched the 15" rim and put 245 75 16 mountaincat on my stock wheels the 16x7.5 with 4.5 back space, fits like a dream and thses tires were more expensive. just thought i'd share, perhaps someone else with an 02 would have better luck but I didnt. so i'm sticking with the 16" rim and getting some black rims for my ATs for the summer.
  16. so the difference between 15 16 or even 17 really isnt going to mean that much for someone in my position?
  17. I was talking to a dude at schwabs after my alignment about getting my winter wheels on steely rims and that I wanted 3.75 backspacing and what not, but we got into what I was going to have for summer wheels and he got into the benefits of smaller rim for more side wall flex and also more rim would hold ground better instead of torquing the tire. all that was new to me so I wanted to get some of your opinions, as it seems most of you opt for less rim and more tire. also the toyo open country m/t doesnt come in a 31x10.5 15 so I would have to use a 16" rim or pick a different tire. Also he was asking what kind of wheeler I am, or where do I go? Its not ever going to be a rock crawling beast or seriously lifted. I like snow driving, mud and trail running so would a little less side wall benefit me at all?
  18. oh YAY its back thank you so much!!!!! i've been checking three times a day and crossing my fingers
  19. reset you say?? i'll research that, thanks man
  20. amsoil is a light colored perhaps yellowish, maybe it was just a different kind of fluid
  21. totally understand that stuff, anything thats easy would be great! also where did you order yours?
  22. Dude your awsome, I just bookmarked that and hopefully will be puting it to good use sooner than later. did you happen to get any pics of the interior fender work and the airbox?
  23. dont know, i havent thought of testing that by closing my hands in the window doesnt seem to be anything keeping it from closing it just wants to go farther than up.
