  1. Well, today I finally got fed up with looking at my Pathy with 32's and seeing a 1" space between the tires and front fenders. Off to NPORA to print out 88's T-bar re-indexing topic. Outside I go, back the Pathy into the shop and got to work... and within 3.5 hours I'd gained 3" of lift. It was a pain in the arse doin' it, but I got er done. The pass. side adjuster wouldn't come free from the t-bar and the whole thing was moving... I took a look at where it goes into the LCA, and it was coming out of the arm. I marked it there, removed the t-bar, and moved it 2 splines. The drivers side adjuster came free from the t-bar, so that was cool. I ended up moving both t-bars 2 splines, and cranking the bolt down. Now, there's 3/4-1" of a gap between the UCA and the bumstop, and I've gained 3" of height. Pretty cool, I thought that with the 3" of height, the UCA would be touching or at least really close to the bumpstop.. The gap I have should be fine, yes? Now the Pathy sits level, and thanks 88 for the writeup. I bow at your feet
  2. I just asked him a price on it, and he said "I could probably give it to ya for $100" So, this can get closed, there's no way I'm spendin that much on a HB BL that might not even work
  3. I've got a buddy who has a 3" Body lift for a King Cab '87 Hardbody, 5spd. Will it fit my Pathy? '90 SE 5spd.
  4. Welcome, where from BC are you from? lets see some pics of 'er.
  5. Yeah, the new site layout doesn't do it for me. I wish they would change it so you could look at all they have to offer for specific models, Pathfinder, Hardbody, Titan etc. It would make it mucho easier for me with my stupidly slow 21kb/s internet...
  6. Kinda offtopic... but..... your Titan is effing SWEET! Good luck on the sale.
  7. $170 for 2" '90-'95 Pathy BL? https://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=117_354
  8. Half of each foot. The end half of my right foot (all toes) and the outside half 3/4 of the way back, on my left foot (3 toes) And for my ear, it's pretty much gone... heh...
  9. That's most peoples reactions. Definitely a freaky experience, but they say everything happens for a reason. And I do believe that burns are one of the most painful things. I haven't experienced much more, but it hurt pretty dang bad haha.
  10. FUELER would love to know what I have in my 480acre garden.....
  11. Uh oh... the 22nd is my girlfriends birthday and we cut down a tree with my chainsaw and had a HUGE fire. Just kidding
  12. K well, back when I was 13, I got schocked by a powerline, and the writers from Reader's Digest found out about it and I was interviewed and the story was put in the July 2002 edition. On with the story. It has made every person that has read it somewhat uneasy so... I'm just saying it now. Kind of emotional, but if it bothers you, then... sorry Anyway, on with the story. I had to scan the pages, so I hope this turns out. I'm Tanner by the way, the one standing in the first picture. And since, I have cut that mop, and also never worn 5 layers of clothes (stupid photographer).. that red sweater and sweater vest made me sweat like crazy in the June heat... jeeze. Just to let you know, the writer was a wiener and made it seem like I was a nerd. No, I didn't want to play on my friends computer, I wanted to go swimming.. damn it was a hot day. Also, we weren't getting the squirrel out so the dog could eat it... we were getting it out because we needed that pipe, and rotting critters in the pipes clog up the sprinklers. Just figured I'd post this so everyone knew a little more about me. It's driven me to pursue paramedicine, and am now a first level Paramedic and enrolled in my secondlevel of three which starts January '09. Oh, and yes I still have my boys, and no I don't have any special powers.
  13. Yep, I'd say put the front end on dollys, lock the steering, t-case in neutral, tranny in neutral, remove the rear driveshaft and tie it up like uncc said. Also check your rear diff fluid and top it up if needed. All should be well then. Not that the t-case and tranny NEED to be in neutral... but it would make you feel better I bet.
  14. I don't know about where you guys all live, but if your box and amp are bolted down to your vehicle, you can claim it under insurance, since it's a "part" of the vehicle. If it's not bolted down, then you can't... but you can always drill holes and act like it was. I believe it's covered under home insurance here. Anyway. Bolt down your box from the INSIDE of the box. Then install your sub with some torx head fasteners. Use the same fasteners for your amp. Hide your faceplate under your seat if you don't feel like taking it with you everywhere.
  15. I did a couple hillclimbs with 5 people other than me in my Pathy with worn All terrains and in 2wd that my three buddies had to try several times to make, in 4wd..... annnd that's about it. There's probably more, but I can't think. But then again... some depends on the driver.. Not bragging about how good I am or anything... just saying my friends are morons!
  16. They're great, I love them. With a little dust on the hood, you do get a bit of glare, but I'm hoping to fix that with a little trim ring on the inside lower quarter of each light. It's not annoying enough that I'm going to do it right now, but I'll probably end up doing it sometime. My eyes are pretty sensitive to light, too... but it seems fine. It's cool because the chrome housing of the lights also serves as a perfect blindspot mirror.
  17. Buggy out a totalled unibody? Yikes, that'd be dangerous without a heavy duty rollcage.
  18. Yep, I could see it. I put in about 50 hours or work on it, all by myself except for re-installation of the front diff, and a couple little things that I wish my "help" wouldn't have done.... because now, the spark timing is messed up and it doesn't run too well.
  19. What engine is it that you are swapping in? I know Casey.T has done a JDM engine swap into his Pathy.
  20. Wicked, LandShark that's the one! Thanks man. Now I've got another project for the Pathy tomorrow. I think I'll put my Daylighters there, and my cheap ones on the bumper. Seems like a longer beamed light would be better higher up? I dont know.
  21. I bet I only actually WORKED about.... ohhh I'd say 50 hours on it. But then again, I had NO experience whatsoever. I'm quite proud of myself actually. Pretty big accomplishment in my books. It's made me want to buy another rig andfix 'er up and sell it for a small profit. Maybe a Yota or something, not many Pathys or Nissan pickups for sale around here, unfortunately... but then again... I'd probably fix it up and keep it if it were a Nissan. I'll probably have a hard time gettin rid of a Yota too haha The biggest issue for me was getting the clutch lined up, as I didn't have a lineup tool. Also the exhaust, I left the manifold connected to the pipe on the drivers side, and took the manifold off on the passenger side. Please make sure you don't remove your distributor... as that's the problem I have right now... I have to correct my timing now, and I've put my fan and rad and all that stuff in, so it makes it difficult getting to the crank bolt without removing the fan. I really don't want to remove the fan, it took FOREVER to get those four little nuts onto the studs. Butttt, it looks like I'll have to do that
  22. That happens to me sometimes too. Right click on the 'x' and go to show picture. Mine is so bad sometimes I'll right click on it and press 'H' on the keyboard, and go thru all of the pictures like that. Usually works.
  23. I tried to search but I can't find the writeup about mounting lights on your fenders close to the windshield Either on the fenders or on the piece with cowl vents... I don't remember, but I can't find it. Anyone know what I'm talking about, or where the writeup is? I think it might have been a Hardbody, but either or.
  24. Haha sweet man. I didn't even notice you're from Oak Harbor. I go to Freeland all the time to visit my grandparents. Next time I'm cruisin down with the Pathy I'll get ahold of you and we can go wheel for a day or somethin. If Deception pass had some openings for tents, then we'd stay there... but it doesn't look like they do.
  25. Generally speaking, 3+3=33. That's 3" Suspension lift, 3" Body lift and you can fit 33's with the proper rims. I have 32's on my non-lifted 1990 Pathy right now, on some older Toyota rims. I've trimmed the fenders a tiny bit, and it seems fine. I haven't taken it out, but I think it will be just fine. But usually, 3+3=33.
