also may not be the threads but the "bevel" or "bead" they have called out...it looks a lil big and may not allow you to get good thread engagement and then even still it may not "compress" the flange to get a good seal...the AC lines i've designed usuaylly have a flat side toward the flare nut where you have a seal

I just learned about BSPT vs NPT IIRC BSPT was a 1/8-17 and the NPT was 1/8-18...Teflon tape worked but i woudlnt recommend it to anyone else to try

IIRC 10.8 has the same material properties as grade 8 and 8.8 has the same materials as grade 5

ouch....i woulda checked the shock bolts to see if they were the same and if so i woulda ran shockless up front just to get back to the main road...i'm a big fan of disabling something to enable something more important but glad to see you got it back in mostly one piece

their A arms seem to be ok...but they do squeak...my turck used to only have the typical nissan crack and pop from up front...but listen to this guy.... the bum bum bum sound at the end is the tires grabbing the rear fenders...i need to do some more trimming

End of the drive and take all the wheels and doors off and count down the days on the side...this guy is a mini driving doucher who needs to mind his own business...I could understand if it was the work I did in CA but this wasn't maintainence or repairs...it was upgrades... locker works amazingly...verified with a 2 wheel peal in a gravel lot and turning on dry pavement...i have to replace the ****** regulator from harbor freight (half expected) and sealant...can't believe it didnt set up....but i have bigger problems keeping me from going this weekend...thinking about laying out of work on thurs to try and get her trail worthy...heres the pix from tonight truck is sitting about 2-3" lower on the passenger side so i think the sleeve in the compression rod broke in half...that's also the side that got slammed at URE... rugh rough shaggy: think this is my problem:
