I would still say that it is the switch on the rear hatch.. for two reasons. 1: When it happens (ie bumps, rough roads) 2: It's is a known problem with WD21 Pathfinders I don't "think " I have one, but is the red light something like a Door Ajar warning lamp? If that is the case then it would support the rear door switch as being the problem. Someone else will follow, but iirc the fix is to space the latch out with a couple of washers.. but I am not 100% sure of that. Several here have fixed this issue they will be able to give better details on it

Yes I have a couple of bent 555's that I got from another member. I was told that they are MOOG parts which have a lifetime warranty He gave them to me because he SAS'ed his truck and no longer need them. I have yet to try and exchanged them... anyone have a MOOG receipt

Options for replacement are... get a new one or convert to electric.

Depends on the year of yota your talking about... 84-88 trucks and 84-89 4Runners have flat top fenders. But 79-83 & 89up trucks and 90up 4Runners have round top fenders.

Mr. P bought some, but I don't think he has installed them yet.

This is not really a new thing, people have been doing it for a long time. There is another how to on this topic... So given this and that PL is recommended that it is "mainly for offraod" then the difference in track should not be to big of a deal.

First get the wheels balanced... Then, are the shocks in good shape?

What do you need to know? I'll assume your are ticking... if the tick goes away right after or soon after starting then your probably ok... they are just draining but they do refill. If the tick stays, then first make sure it's not the exhaust that is ticking. If your sure that it is a lifter(s) then get a stethoscope and pinpoint which one(s) , call the dealer, pick some up and replace them.

What size are your tires? They look to be 225x75/15's. If that is the case then I would recommened some 31's then a lift. If you plan on going to a tire bigger than 31's then you should get the lift and tires and install them at the same time... IMO

His trucks not running in any of those pics *my gauge does not register unless the key is on They look all right.. but I would be intersted in your long term opinion on night driving with them.

Again, I will refer you back to those two threads... the 87 will look different than the ones pictures on Siggy's truck... and subject to opinion, may not look good at all. 84-88 Toyota Trucks including 4Runners to '89 had a flat top wheel well.. so the flares are an entirely different shape than the ones pictured. Maybe that flat top will look good given the trim line in our trucks sides... but until someone tries it and provides pics, we just do not know for sure.

Many people run external tranny coolers in front of the radiator (on Pathys and others) and seldom, if ever is it a problem

Bushwacker does not make a direct fit "cutout" flare for Pathfinders... if you read the whole thread (both of them) you will learn that. But they do make ones for other trucks that could likely fitted to a Pathy. Siggy's are for a 79-83 Toyota truck and he was able to make them work. Slick, yours are not the cut out or pocket style flares... after a look on thier site your flares appear to be either OE Style or from the Extend-a-Fender line After looking at the site it appears that they no longer make anything for WD21's... seems they trimmed the product line as a whole for older trucks (don't even list my 83 yota anymore)

Maybe for Nissan... but GM and Ford alone have had 3.8+ V6's for a long time
