This is true, and if you installed a Hardbody manual gear box, is would be easier than just disconnecting the pumps belt or hoses. But let say that my statements above hold true, based on personal experience. Although my Toyota is an SR5, it did not come with power steering. And for the first couple years that I had it it remained manual. Then one day I was at a local wrecking yard and came across a yota with all it's PS components intact and untouched. $75 bought me everything, I took it home and put it aside. Went wheeling a time or two after that, then finally got back to installing it. Went wheeling the following weekend and the difference was huge. This was a 4cyl with less pony's than our V6's have, but it was well worth any cost (not really noticeable anyway) and I never looks back

Yeah, calling the stock unit a "skid plate" is really stretching it, over built splash guard is more like it 5523pathfinder has an AC skid plate and I have never heard him complain about it... Not sure who else has one.

Of course, that is the weakest link in our front ends... a modified CL will help to correct that

I replaced all the bolts in my TRE's and BJ's, and spend the extra $2-3 for rubber caps, which keep the end of the zerks clean

Having met Jared in person many times, I can say that he was a good guy, a lot of fun to wheel with and in general, to just be around. He started out green here at NPORA. He jumped into the off road community with both feet and refused to give up even when things were not going the way he wanted. I spoke to him a lot on the phone before he knew much, but through the help of the community, he was becoming a valued, contributing member for us all. packie88 will be missed, there is no doubt about that. That was something I looked for (man/auto - from your cardomain pics) when I was looking through the FSM's (94 + 89), but I can't find a plug, for a relay or not, in that area with those color of wires

I'm not sure what additional components there are in the security system, but you could start by just moving the module (under drivers seat) And switch, along with anything else you see that's connected, over and seeing it if works Assuming you have the plugs in your truck. So maybe people can add to the list Module under LH seat Switch in center Console Antenna location?

Heard this complaint about a few of them before. iirc some people have simply ground out the holes to make it fit while others filled it (weld) then re-drilled.

No luck finding that plug with the wire colors I looked at my truck and can't see anything just like yours, here's what I have But keep in mind that mine is an "i" while yours is an "e" You could just cover that plug up if your worried about it. Is your truck running oddly and your just trying to track a problem down?

Just went through the 1994 FSM (hardcopy) diagram by diagram and so far I have not located a relay with that comination of wires. I'll looked further tomorrow if I can

That's a factory cup holder for an 89-95 Toyota. They have the right year range... wrong truck.

Whats the color of the wires coming from it? With that info we should be able to find them on a wiring diagram in the FSM

It's a Conversion HiLux and one of several predecessors to the Surf (4Runner in north america) I am not positive if they were called Surf's then but I do not believe so.. the last year of that body style was '83 Now again, I could be wrong, but I think that conversion was specific to Iceland. Done by a local company, like the Trekkers and Trailblazers here were.

Not all Pathfinders (V6 or not) and not all trim levels. As has been discussed many items on the board, trim levels meant little to Nissan Look for an orange sticker on the rear of the pumpkin to verify, or jack it up and test.

Meh, my rear sway bar has been off for several years now and I drive over 60mph on a regular basis. In addition, I have a rack and a matching full sized spare in the rack on top of the truck and I have no issues driving. Does it lean? Yes, but the body roll is not so extreme that I am uncomfortable with it. Is it for everyone? No I am sure many would not like it. But I have spent years driving vehicles that exhibit worse handling characteristics, so I am more less used to it. My front bar, although connected, has no bushings on the frame mounts, so it does little except in extreme situations. I've done many emergency lane changes as well (as grimgreg described) And just like he said, I am sure the lean scares other drivers. But in MY case, with MY setup on MY truck, I am OK with how it handles... your results may and likely will vary
