88 feels my pain! I don't have $$$$$ flowing out of my A$$, or I would love to!
-
SC88Pathy...... sssh Your little bouncing girl needs to pop out of her shirt one of these days! :o

Thanks Slick & Thunder! I've read and been told that the 205's are bullet proof. Small is what I need with what little or tight space we have under the Pathy's. What would shipping run on something like that? Would having it trucked or something like that be cheaper than UPS? Thanks again you two!
-
:sniff: :sniff: I figured that much! Oh well, it was worth checking into for the price. I wish I would've spent the money for the Trailmaster lift. 33's here we come! Thanks guys!

:help: I KNOW! I KNOW! Use the darn search engine, but I figured I would get a faster response this way...... Great deal in the local newspaper for sale. Want to snag them if possible...... 35X14.5X15 Mickey Thompson BAJA's on a Chevy 6 bolt wheel for only $400.00. I know I will have to get my 3" Body lift and trim the hell out of my fenders, but is it possible? I know guys running 35's, but are they 14.5's? Is that too darn wide? I think it would look mean ass hell, but what other kind of up grades am I looking at for the steering and the tie-rods/ball joints/etc.? Thanks everyone!

 Thanks a million Slick! What would something like that run me? Or what kind of damage would you create in my ppocket book?

:help: I'm new to the whole 4wheel drive stuff. I was reading in one of my off road mag's and they were mentioning that a NP205 transfer case is one of the toughest transfer cases out there. I'm planning on dropping a 350 small block in the Pathy. I already have a 350 tranny, but wanting to get a stronger transfer case and cheaper this way instead of paying the $750.00 for the adapter from AC. I just had a guy mention to me that I would be wanting a 208, which he has one for $200. Is this guy feeding me a bunch of crap or what? Thanks for all your input everyone!

That's wierd! I got tired of the creaking of the wheelstops so I took mine off. I know start cussing me out, but I haven't had any problems yet on the tires tearing something up. I get a sharper turning radius and I'm running the stock 31X10.5X15 Kumhos. I'm sure I'll have to put them back on once I get my 33's on. Why would the tire have a better chance on rubbing with a spacer? You would have a lesser chance of the tire rubbing the frame or the front steering area wouldn't you? I could see the fenders, but that is what a sawzaw is for. Trim away my friend!

So true, so true Mr. Pickles! Flashy bright colors attrack too much attention. Better to get the attention by the higher and bigger the truck and tires are. Oh yes, and also the loudness of the beefy exhaust. -bounce- -bounce-

If you go with the Mopar (Hemi) Orange, you best have a Hemi under the hood!
-
:furious: SCREW the bumper. Wouldn't even handle a ATV winch. Looks tight, but nothing there. Just thought I would throw it out there for anyone interested in a beefier look, but no extreme off roading.
-
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking also. I'll check with the manufacturer to see if guys are mounting winches to these. What do you think of the look for a Pathy though?
-
Do you think that would hold a winch and be able to with hold the weight of the vehicle if I had to use my Hi-Lift jack? I'm getting ready to use some money I really don't have right now. I just got done buying some WARN Hubs. Should have them tomorrow. -bounce- -bounce- -bounce-

Hey All, Check this out! I was looking through a JCWhitney Truck catalog and saw this. Unfourtunately, they don't carry the product anymore, but got in touch with the manufacturer (Warrior Products). I :type: them and they said that they would fab one up for the Pathy. From the sounds of things, it would be the same, but no mounts welded in. They will send them, but not welded so I could weld them to the width I need for the Pathy. Jc Whitney had them for $230.00, but not sure yet on the manufacturer. Will be looking into that. Seems chaeper than having someone mod one for me around here anyway. I'll keep everyone posted on the pricing. The overall length of the bumper from outside to outside is 63 1/8". I measured the Pathy's and it is an inch shorter from what I could figure. If anyone else knows for sure the exact length of the front stock bumpers, please let me know. I'll see if they can fab to the exact measurement. Sorry, the pic isn't pasting, I'll send it seperately.

Thanks Z. I've looked many times there and nothing. This time, there happen to be one that is under "Hood Protector". Thanks Man!
-
:help: Alllrighty then, I've seen older pathy's with the T-shaped bras. Where could someone get one like that? For those that don't know what in the world I'm talking about; it goes across the front of the hood and up the middle of the hood to the back of the hood. Sorry I don't have a pic right now to post for all to see. Thanks for all your help!
-
SW, How in the world did you get that angle to shoot a pic of the knock sensor? On my '94 it's in the same location, but back further on the block. PITA to replace, but now I can do it blind folded. Not too bad after having it pulled apart and back together again twice. Good luck Vidro! If you need any help and have questions, don't hesitate to email for help. I can email you a write up on the topic if need be. For some reason it never got onto the site for others to use, so I've kept it around for referances. Later ALL!

How To Reprogram Your Keyless Entry/Alarm Remote
94 Pathy replied to 88pathoffroad's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Hey Cy.... You can leave your console switch on at all times. It just allows you to have your alarm set at all times. If you have your keys with you when you open your doors and the light is flashing, just put your key in the ignition and turn until it shuts off. You are good to go. If having problems with your remote, do as previously mentioned and reprogram. Good luck! -
Not as bad as I expected. I do have to say, "It would look a lot better with a Jerry can instead of the plastic wider/fatter can." I'll have to try that, considering I just bought some ratchet straps the other day.
-
Pathie4me, that would be great if you could do that. could you also show some detail shots & some specs on metal used, holes drilled, etc. Thanks abunch!
-
:Yo Teen, Get on ebay. Just saw some a few days ago a complete set for around $200-$300. Talk about cheap. I about bought them and was going to resell them or trade for other components I want.

CDN, What about mounting the center tire mount bracket you still have in the cargo area? Yes, I know it would be taking up precious space, but for now until you get a basket or sway-a-way. If not that center piece, how about a truck tire mount. Like the ones you seen in the back of HB's and many other trucks? I was thinking about doing that, but ran into a super cheap basket.
