  1. The QX4 interior is really nice, and has genuine wood trim. Electroluminescent gauges, wood steering wheel, etc. The Xenons are great too. I LOVE the QX4 but would rather have a Discovery at the price.
  2. Sounds great, but you forgot something: PICS! BTW: I'm a BMW guy but have heard those C350s are FAST!
  3. cvearl, I would heartily recommend you get either the OME or AC lift. The OME sounds like a great choice for you, with either the OME shocks or Rancho 9000x adjustable shocks. Don't pay too much attention to GVWR and stuff...you're using your SUV like it should be used.
  4. Mine came with the small round ones in the bottom outside corners of the mirrors. When I first bought it, I told myself that was the first thing I was getting rid of. But they are so handy I find it hard to drive without them! I can perfectly place my tire when parallel parking. I love 'em.
  5. It's been beaten to death on Maxima.org, for one. It's really the 2002+ when they went from the 3.0 to the 3.5. Go to maxima.org and go into the 5.5 gen section, you'll find it. I'm not a big Nissan fan anymore, they're like the Japanese Dodge now.
  6. I've always heard that the REVO is one of the best A/T tires in snow. I'd run them, and if you have problems in snow then get another set of snow tires.
  7. Looks nice dude...XJs are soooo capable.
  8. The deactivation feature in trucks is much less effective as it is in say, a Magnum. This is due to the poorer aerodynamics and heavier weight. Basically, it will hardly ever go into 4-cylinder mode.
  9. I knew this. You're the first I've seen that actually likes the plastic. I would have bought the new one anyways but whatever.
  10. I know they're 17x7...I don't know the offset.
  11. The VQ has some documented oil-burning, especially in 2002ish Maximas...it's not in all though. The VG is a tough engine, I've just about killed mine and it runs great, just blew a seal.
  12. Just do the math. You can kinda sorta fit 265/75-16 with an OME, so figure it out for 17". Definitely keep the 17" wheels, they're great looking OE wheels.
  13. Any car with plastic undercladding will look like crap, be it some Jeeps, Xterras, Avalanches, anything. It saves the manufacturer money when in production, and they market it as "tough" when it's obviously not so it doesn't flop. Chevy took away the plastic on the Avalanche because it looked like @!*%, plain and simple. The Avalance looked better without it, but it was still an Avalanche.
  14. So then what the hell is the Denali thing about? ???
  15. I know I'm late to the party, but OBX, did you sell your Pathfinder?
  16. Have you ever heard of an "Xterra"? Been using the hard plastic all over the place since 2000. Don't let that Nissan badge burn your retinas... The Avalanche got rid of the plastic because it looked like crap, like the whole damn thing was made out of a Transformer figure. Nissan wasn't smart enough to ditch the plastic this go round.
  17. A good friend of mine works for Cummins...he said he's pretty sure Toyota is in talks... Shhh... :X
  18. It looks good as is. DON'T put any more chrome on it! Chrome sucks, it's not a Tahoe. I'd say go with new wheels first...I love Enkei RTSs.
  19. Pezzy's right but the 6-disc was a 2001+ thing. The VG timing belt is 105k, the VQ uses a non-maintenance timing chain.

    Tires

Don't do that size, at least go to 265/70-16 or a 255/70.
  21. Way cool, you get mad props in my book!
  22. I'd love it over an Xterra...Xterra's seem like they were styled by 13 year-olds... -thnkboutit-
  23. As it turns out it seems like that tint shop is retarded...
