Thanks, I just noticed that. I took the alty to autozone to get it tested, and the guy that was helping me out ran the test and it failed. Took it to checker for a second opinion, or should I say test, and it passed with flying colors. The girl who tested it said that it's putting out 15 volts.

Ok went to checker and they didn't have any on stock. went to autozone and they only had the maxima, pathy was at another store. I was thinking of comparing the two side by side and just decided to go to the j/y and buy one to compare at the other autozone. Here's some pics of the oe maxima: Got the alty for $50.00, so I finally pulled out the oe alty and saw that the bolt holes are the same, the connections are the same too. Here are the pics with the pullies swapped already: As you can see the maxima alty is a little more beefier. Some of the things I noticed after the install was complete are, I turned the pathy on and when the dual e-fans turned on, there was no voltage drop like there was with the 70 amp alty. Start up was much nicer, and the accelaration was a little better too. Dome light for the front and back where brighter. So to answer the question, yes the maxima 90 amp alty is completely bolt on, except that the pulley needs to be swapped.

I've seen pics online from checkers, but I just really want to make sure cause I know that the pics are not always the same. Will be heading to checkers as soon as the wife gets back from the store.

cause I already have the uppers. What I'm planning on doing is buying the lower bj's cv boots, and the l&p kit so I can take it to a shop and have it all installed in one day, with alignment.

yeah, 90 amps, and from what I heard completly bolt on, but will head to checker tomorrow and view the diffrence between the the pathy's and maxima.

I have a MSD 6a ignition box with a Blaster coil currently. I've been running bosch platinum +4 since last march. I'm gonna upgrade to ngk iridiums though. I've heard pos things about them. anyone has experience with those new e3 plugs?

I know bringing this topic back up is like flogging a dead horse, but, where do you find the speed sensor mentioned above. I still haven't been able to fix this problem, but in a week 1/2 this problem will be non existant.

ok finaly finished installing the starter, ut accidentally broke the connection to the oil pressure sensor. would I see any reprecussions for not having the connection installed, while i get a replacement?

Ok, I'm still replacing the starter. managed to pull it out above the CL, man was this a PITA!!!. I was trying to get it off and I finally thought it was going to be a walk in the park, when I had to push it thru. I'm still waiting for the replacement starter. I hope it gets here soon, cause I gotta go to work tomorrow and I hope it's not as hard pushing it thru to install again.

It started pretty normally, The way it happened, was that I turned the ignition on then it popped, then 2 seconds later, it started normally. Where the hell is the starter at anyway's?

Whats up everyone. Yesterday when I left jack in the box to go back to work I tried to start my beast and it just clicked and a few seconds later the engine started. I got to work and turned her off then turned her on again and it did the same thing. I turned her off and on again and now the problem is gone. I hope it's just the starter and not something even more expensive. It has not done this since yesterday. Any ideas?

Hey, Im mexican and I have a raised pathy. I plan on raising it more with a Tmaster lift. Over all lift 6 in the front and 4 1/2 in the back, oh yeah baby. But as mentioned before, it is the most idiotic thing to lower a 4x4.

I don't see any problem with it. 86-95 are wd21, so most parts should be interchangable.

989 on the helicopter. There was this really small opening on the top and bottom of the block. I don't know how you could have gotten thru. Ok just broke my record again at 1139
