  1. Dexron III, or most of us would say redline synthetic, as far as t-cooler try this link http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.as...lts=false&N=115
  2. I'm actually really considering loosing the freaking ifs and going solid axle. I would be interested in this kit, but like it has been mentioned before, I would need more durability testing to be done first before purchase. I was planning on buying the trailmaster suspension lift, but if I can get 5" of lift from a sas, then I would go with that.

    K & N Filter

One thing that I'm going to try that I have yet to see is have a piece of sheet metal installed, between the maf tubing and where the cone filter connects to, that way it acts like a heat shield and does not suck in engine heat. kind of like this:
  4. I can vouch for the install. No porblems at all, except extending the egr tube. Here's a pic
  5. Eh, I have the same problem too, both the front dome and rear hatch light flicker when I turn.
  6. I've heard that direct hits is suppose to be good too. Anyone have any experience with these?
  7. You may want to try summit racing too. I think they are in back order though.
  8. I didn't experience any problems with the thorleys. I have an auto, the crossover pipe was not a problem either. Everrything went well. The only "problem" I did experience was I had to extend the egr tube to fit to the driver side header.
  9. Sorry to report that the same problem is back, even with the module swap. I trieds to run th diagnostic codes and I don't get any judgement flickers. It's really pissing me off cause I am following the direction just like the pdf file that's pinned in the garage section and nothing.
  10. Ok, finally got the a/t module. Installed it, but did notice a diffrence with them. The original one has a g decal, and the one from the boneyard has a J. Didn't put much thought into it, plugged in the harnesses and went to start her up. No flickers when it started. shut the pathy off and turned on again... no flickers. Ok, decided to take her for a spin. First thing I noticed, no hard shifting, ok that's good. Second, shift points are little lower than the original, no problem here. Third, run her to 60 mph, and no hardshifting. I think that this may have solved my problem, but I want to really test it out before making a final decision about how she is doing. Going to find out tomorrow, when I take my daily 14 mile, 25 minute drive to work.
  11. I know exactly what you are going thru, cause guess what....I have the same problem. Try running the codes on the tranny and find out what the problem is. My a/t module won't read out codes, only the e-power light blinks a few times and that's it, that's why I decided to just buy another module and hope that this is the problem. I just bought the a/t module today for $20.00, going to test it out tomorrow. in the mean time, take time to read this post and check this out also on how to run the codes. http://Nissan.damagedreality.com/NissanTransTests.pdf try reading this post, maybe it'll help. it seems that there is quite a few members that are having this same problem. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=9741
  12. This is exactly what my fans do when I turn on the pathy. Once it reaches the temperature setting, they turn on. But if you had what happened to my when coming back from mexico and waiting in line for about 40 minutes with the a/c on and all of a sudden you see that the radio is turning off, then turns on again after a few seconds, then the pathy dies; you may want to upgrade to a higher output alternator like I am going to next week.
  13. Oh, and just as a precaution. I'm going to take the panel apart before i get to the j/y and then unplug module I have and plug in the new one. Try to do the diagnostics, if no light flashes, then I'm going to get a refund.
  14. Ok, I found several pathy's at the bone yards and got $40.00 quote for the A/T Module, what do you guys think? I think it sounds like a decent price and will be getting in on Tuesday.
  15. Yes it is possible, but you will definatley need the new ecu, sensors wiring, etc. Here's a post that might help. They talk about the S/C possiblilty but it seems like there is alot more work involved. http://nissan4wheelers.com/groupee/forums/...131#36410576131
  16. Where did you hear the squeel come from? I had a squeel before, but when i removed the clutch fan it went away. Bad clutch. Check your manual tranny clutch.
  17. Is this what's happening? http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=9741&st=0
  18. I've decided to go with the 90 amp alty. I'm getting some extra cash next week, so Hopefully I can pick up the alty then too. It's running about $50.00 at the boneyard, this sucks. I'm gonna shop around, but I think that the price will stay consistant every where I go.
  19. Cool, I was wondering who had a carfax account available. I'm interested in getting the Pathy's previous history. All I know that it is from Oregon.
  20. Cool Redpath88, seems pretty straight foward. I can't get an alty right now cause I'm low on cash. I'm trying to sell a 16" and 10" e-fans for $60.00 both. But hopefully I can go the bone yard next week. I'll be in the look out for some quest mini vans. BTW, did you have to buy a new belt for the alternator with your set up?
  21. I recently upgraded my radiator e-fan to a dual 50 amp fan. Well since the stock alty only makes 70 amps, I see that 20 amps to power everything else is not that much. Plus, I left the ignition on for may be 5 minutes and the fans darined the battery. So, I want to upgrade to a 90 amp alty, but was wondering if 40 amps would be enough. I was planning on getting a 95 maxima alty from the bone yard since I remember 88 saying that it was a complete bolt on. I would go with the quest alty, but I don't have the tools required to fab up a new brace to mount it to the pathy.
  22. :o :o :o :o :o Man, and I'm just worried about some popping coming from the front end. Man, I have no words to explain, but holy moly. Find a donor and replace parts asap, cause I wouldn't drive that to the corner market!!!
  23. Ditto, I can vouch for that too. I've got a mild lift and planning on installing a trailmaster sl too.
