  1. i was thinking...why not just install the UCA's, get the alignment, THEN install the rear lift.... I'll probably have a shop fab one up for me, cause Its a pretty good drive to my offroad venues, and i like to eat while i drive...and not get in accidents! It'll have to wait till after this camping trip though...oh well!
  2. Hypocrite- a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings You see, i called you a dick, you called me a hypocrite. I am not a dick, you are, therefore i am not a hypocrite. Ok? You could cut the sarcasm for once in your life alex, not everything is your business to poke fun at people and make rude remarks. I apologize that I'm a 16 year old who lives at home, and has a mom who is willing to buy tires as she likes to go on the sand dunes without hassling with weak sidewalls. I apologize that you are 24, and obviously miss your own home because your parents didn't love you enough. ok? Chances are, IF you went to college, your parents helped you with that(in one way or another they did help with bills, either it being paying a small amount, or cosigning) and without that help you wouldn't HAVE a pathfinder, so therefore, you have no room to criticize me. I think you have lost the concept that no matter what level of modifications, wheeling, or skill someone has, they are welcome in NPORA, and I believe this has made you think that you alone are superior to everyone else, as you have an ARB bumper and get to go places on your highway tires that undoubtedly makes you just that much better because you don't NEED highway tires to go through that puddle next to your trailer. Again, I apologize for your inability to see this, and your obvious inferiority complex [/rant] ------ I like my michelin ltx m/s, but dislike the weak sidewall. This really hurts when you need to air down for sand, and when I upgrade to 33's, I will definately be swapping them out for some sort of load rating C or above, as I find the michelins didn't have quite the sidewall strength to hold up to dune abuse @ 10psi. Great highway tire though!
  3. yeah, so if i go for an alignment, won't they align all the front to the back, and therefore misalign the front? Or, i could just pay for two alignments O_O 70 bucks each...
  4. oh, damnit...i got this thread confused with another thread about a guy getting a deal on just UCA's from RC SORRY!
  5. Oh, so you DID catch that? Im not a dick to people
  6. oh, we forgot that you run uber tires that are waaay better than anyone elses and anything else is subpar and therefore has no place in offroad and gives you the right to be a dick to people that you have no right to be a dick to.... My bad! Im looking @ bfg a/t as my next tire, or whatever looks like a good deal :-) Most places round here don't carry alot of the bigger size tires.....walmart only carries the bfg at in 33" so i think i'll go with theirs :\
  7. will sears throw a huff if i don't use one when i go for the alignment after UCA's?
  8. do those come with ALL RC uca's? Im going to ironman to order mine tomorrow morn
  9. well, the non-axle side has been done before and works...so.....ima see if i can go with that! I'll probably hold off on that for the camping trip, i should be ok, its only a 40 mile highway drive there :\
  10. they have a set of 31x1050x15 of those sitting @ the entrance of walmart auto round here, they look good, being a wrangler series, but they are just too SMALL, 31's are the biggest they offer i think..
  11. Alright, two things 1- Is it really mandatory to use a drop bracket? what are the penalties for NOT? 2- Are there any 'work arounds'? 3- Anyone got a template made up? Im not a big fan of 75 bucks, so i may call up a shop round hur
  12. orly? i just thought it was a shift or something, cause it does the same thing if ya turn off OD while cruisin..
  13. did you get shocks? Im getting the whole kit for 210 plus 36 shipping to my door
  14. Well, the only real distinguishing thing that would distinguish it from xe versus se is the sunroof...cause i have xe and alot of that stuff too....anyways... The e-at button, from what i know, changes your shift points to compensate for heavy accel. and if you watch it while you gun the truck, it will light up if on auto, but i usually turn it to power vs auto when im offroading, just for good measure. You don't want Overdrive on for ALL situations, i.e. towing, strenuous work, offroading.....mostly towing, because when you cruise while towing being in OD could put xtra wear and tear on the engine.... You will find an overdrive button on most SUV's and towing capable trucks.....its mostly due to the fact that when people tow, they cruise @ 55-70mph, and if you've ever been cruising, you will notice your engine goes into a kind of 'sleep' mode, and if you try to quickly accelerate it shifts, THEN accelerates.....you can also see this if you cruise @ say 55, then hit the overdrive button, it will shift and end up in higher rpm's.....overdrive will save you gas on long trips and highway speeds..........
  15. have you pulled the codes yet? That may add some insight
  16. but it would be very noticeable if it was running on diesel for 20 miles... :\
  17. I didn't know that it would run with diesel, you may have been running on gas remnants and then it started pulling in diesel...
  18. this happened a few times to davesfarm on youtube, and he fixed it pretty easy with some work.....he just pumped the diesel out via battery to the fuel pump, then filled er up with gas and let it burn out....go check it out on youtube...
  19. im pulling a mypath1..... http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=22945
