Refining the ideology ;-) i <3 photoshop.... If i can get ahold of the guy selling parts, and get the door, im planning on cutting above the outside handle, and even with the inside armrest, and follow alot of the inside lines, including keeping the speakers functional

yeah...shes due for alot of stuff...brakes, tuneup, plugs, cap, rotors, e-brake, rust management...and the list goes on.. Well good, i just wanted to make sure it wasn't something i had to worry about being damaged permanently

Yeah, i found a yard that only stocks 4x4, so ill check em out this weekend or next week...i think ill start with just the drivers door, or maybe just the front doors...depending on price

So i drove through some puddles today...what can i say, i like the splash.. I made sure not to get water anywhere near the airbox or tailpipe.... But i slowed down, and then started speeding up, and it sounded WEIRD and it kinda smelled like firecrackers..So i slow all the way down, and give it some throttle, and it feels like its shuddering, you know? until about 3k rpm... So i shut her off, and im about to look @ the airbox, when i realize i should pull into a spot off the dirt road, incase someone wants to pass. so i start her up again, and she really sputters to life, then i think 'well, if she dies here, im screwed, so ill get her home b4 i shut her down again' and off i go, and it still sputters and the exhaust sounds really poppy, as in i can almost hear the cylinders firing or something....or if its gurgling...so i hope i didn't get water somewhere bad, so i put it in N and rev it up to about 5k, a few times, and i start goin again, and after a few minutes it goes away... wtf?!

Idk, i got in my truck to check the cb and roll up the windows, and was hearing people in springfield virginia and marshfield mass. clear as day O_O One of em just got his radio system redone, and when i said i could hear him clear as day in MI, he was pretty happy with the renovations

Well, i took them BOTH out to RnV today, and neither one worked worth a damn. I got a great signal from the dxIII from my driveway, idk why, but one guy in a convo was coming through TERRIFIC Haven't been able to pick up much of anything since, just sounds like im about to catch one, then nada... Considering i don't even have a half decent antenna, ima go with the dxIII, and if i decide to upgrade, i can always go and sell that and buy the IV, but until then ill be returning the IV and looking for a new antenna

well i got it wired up, i had to use some wiring from my broken baja lights (yeah...the spot where the fuse goes was faulty on that wiring, so i gave up on the lights and cut out the fuse holder) It kinda sucks, but heh, for 50 bucks total, i can kinda hear people, and it can probably get me outta a jam one day......if only i could find a real antenna, vs this wallymart magnet.... Oh yeah, for $$ purposes I went with the ultra 3 :\

So I decided I needed a CB, after going to the offroad park and finding someone who was stuck for an hour....and if he had a cb, he could have called a ranger or someone else.... So I drive around town for 2 hours, looking for someone with a nice antenna (radiocrap had them, but not in stock) so i go to meijer, and they have a cheapo $15 20" antenna, and a 50 dollar Cobra 19DX IV.......i buy it cause i am done searching...but i stop @ wallymart and they have a Cobra 19 Ultra III...for 34 bucks, and the same antenna for 9 bucks... i buy those too... Now, i get home, and these are different cb's...although they have the same mic, size, mounting, and evry thing else, the dxIV has rf gain, whereas the III doesn't.... This will save me 20 bucks atleast (entrance fee to park) so is there really a huge diff? This will probably be for emergency use primarily....

Well, im not too sure how, but i lost my V key...sometime in the last three minutes....so now its a nub...but anyways... The cutdown doors are looking alot more promising now, considering there are some saws on craigslist for under 30 bucks, and i drew up some quick plans on pscs4...so idk, if i can get four doors cheap (yes, if im doin it, its gonna be all four) then ill put more thought into it....

well, ill make a list... 1- WD21's are nonexistant within 75 miles worth of junkyards.... 2- The ones past 75 miles want waaay to much for stuff 3- I don't have a sawsall 4- I don't have a welder or anything similar 5- If i did get a set of doors, chances are i would end up preserving them as 'spares' instead of halfin them, cause im a packrat
