  1. Im not sure if you can....but if anyone could do it, it would be a shop What alot of people do is use GPS to calculate it edit- Oh wait.....maybe 95's have electronic spedometers....hmmmm idk
  2. You almost forgot, we usually get better gas mileage with better gearing/smaller engine than those big trucks Idk bout you guys, but when I'm cruisin up a dune, and it sticks up there in the 6000rpm, it sounds GOOD! Still sounds like it just rolled off the line!
  3. Ideas on how to fix 'er up? My handbrake has apparently rusted through, and rendered it useless, and with my wearing brakes, i really kinda want the reassurance of a working hand brake!
  4. My guess, is that the sensor is located somewhere on the right side, and when making a right turn, all the fluid goes to the left, making the sensor think its empty
  5. Well, I just had it @ the shop for oil change/differential change/ at fluid check/tire check and such, so I figured if it was low, they would have checked it and filled it up...guess not... Plus, my brakes are due anyways, and usually we would have had them replaced by now
  6. Lol....ok, here ya go Brake light and ABS light were coming on when I accelerated around corners, or braked hard around corners....then would go off shortly after....check my brake fluid, and it was barely above minimum, so I got out my DOT 3 brake fluid, and filled it up to MAX......gonna test it out on my way to trumpet lessons and see if it worked!
  7. Yep, did that just after i posted, filled er up......it was about a 1/4" above MIN.... Goin for a quick drive, gonna test 'er out
  8. on my latest dune trip i recalc'd the mpg....and again BOTH ways, it took apx 6 gallons, and i went between 130-147 miles.....so apx 23mpg highway... When i fill up this week i'll check...right now im @ 300 miles from full tank of gas of city driving.... Who knows!
  9. Pro- You could probably get a bit of lift from em, cause they taper down into the track...and then you don't need nearly as much fender clearance, cause the track just surrounds the wheel @ the top!
  10. I think he means the ones that came with it... If you don't have a bent one, I wouldn't really bother doing anything to it other than adding the brace...that seems to support it just fine
  11. http://www.arctictrucks.com/lisalib/getfil...970&proc=28 Id drive that ANY DAY!
  12. Im kinda an idiot....and usually suggest the kind of solution most people think of first...but hey... I'd think its a broken switch if it works on all the other settings :\
  13. does this go for the UCA too? If so, does the RC UCA come with bushings? I wasn't sure
  14. Okie doke, well cash is kinda tight, so i think I'll replace Shocks (included) UCA Bushings Possibly Ball Joints then if everything goes smoothly, as cash comes around- Strut rods and bushings Tie Rod ends LCA Bushings Its amazing how much the bill can rack up...
  15. Hey everyone, I recently started hearing a horrible squeek whenever my front suspension is moving....even with me hoppin out of the car it squeeks.... So what should i replace while im tearin up the front end for my UCA's?
  16. I had blt's for din din today.....the third and fourth didn't have the LT though....just BACON Shopping list for camping trip- Potatoes Eggs 2 lbs bacon Steak
  17. well, idk if you know this or not, my ma didn't when she used the pathy as a DD....there are a few clicks on the rocker for the rear wiper- All the way left- On Full Power One from Left- Medium Power One from Right- Off Right- Fluid/On If you just happen to be on the wrong click, try putting it one from the furthest right, and then if that doesn't work, I would try pulling the switch apart to see if there is something jumbled inside, which is what happened with my foglight switch a while back...
  18. Yeah...i saw those vids a while ago, but I took them as the kind of thing that tire companies do to advertise their tires...find the goopiest stuff that they KNOW it can go through, and tape that... they don't show you the REST of the trail that it needed to be towed in..... Idk, the money to performance factor isn't enough for me, considering an SAS and big tires with beadlocks would probably be cheaper, and more efficient/attractive Although, they would look very badass in Antarctica on a black pathy, with a roof basket filled with gear and big running boards and survival gear stuffed inside :coffee!: .....THAT would be fun as hell
  19. yeah, pretty much only good for snow travel, if that...I though about it, but they are pretty much useless for anything other than flotation and such, seems like they would dig into sand or mud, and wouldn't grip too great on rocks and stuff :\ Plus, i heard they are MAD expensive..
  20. I spent a four day dune trip doing water crossings and didn't ruin my alternator....and i mean DEEP water crossings, one of which flooded my airbox and cabin with sand/water....didn't wreck my alty...I don't think anyone has relocated theirs either :\ On a separate note, since you ditched your AC, why not put the compressor back in, and modify it for onboard air?
  21. I eat with ALL appendages! Naw, Its mostly because my mom will drive it every so often, and she will come yelling @ me that i broke it..... Not too bad to get a bracket made, and ill deal with the pull for a while anyways, i guess it depends on how bad it is :\
