  1. If you don't plan to ever take it on the street, just go steel tube and heim joint for your steering.
  2. Nope, the VG33s have the same tranny, t-case and axels. Edit: Most all Nissan 4wd have the H233 rear pre 05.
  3. I voted on my 88 88= XE/auto/open/4.3 93= XE/auto/open/4.6
  4. All are the same basic shape/framework.
  5. Hell any tire with 20 extra pounds of rubber hangin on it would be good after a proper iron attack...I'm talking off the shelf.
  6. How many sets of wheels? Are yours bent to hell? Balancing won't correct a bent rim wobble.
  7. Dunno bout you funny people and your Terranos, but the NA Pathfinder didn't get an LE until 94.
  8. No it has a door open light, if the door was a jar they wouldn't have called it a door, they would have called it a jar.
  9. Why they call their establishment a "DEALER" and not a "FIXER". They just want to sell you everything they can.
  10. Do you have the bulletin for the 88 VSS?
  11. Unless they are Swamper Thornturds
  12. I like the idea, but are the BJ bolt heads sitting flat or is only a small part of them touching the UCA? If they aren't flat you might run into issues of them either loosening or sheering.
  13. What did you destroy exactly? Spiders, R&P, shafts...? Depending on what you broke would depend on the way to go abot swapping, fixing it.
  14. Hey Ticker, look around, there are 4wd Xs for sale in town. I saw one on Friday (private sale) sitting on 36/37 just outside Delaware.
  15. It is a part on the pre 90 VG30I engines. It is a one way valve for the EGR.
  16. There is a converter made by Jasco that I used. It was an acid (like Naval Jelly), but it converted the iron oxide into a different inert compound. Like Naval Jelly, you had to wash this stuff off after, but it left the metal in a state that you didn't have to paint it imediately (Naval Jelly simpley eats the rust leaving bare metal that can rust again instantly).
  17. Not for that truck, but made one for the 93 that I eventually plan to swap over to it (made it for a truck with a BL).
  18. My 88 is only saggy on the passenger side.
  19. Yeah....I just measured mine, the one from the junk yard is 19" and the one on my 93 is 21"....how the huh? I could have sworn I took the one on my 88 off of a 92.
  20. Yeah, the injectors and sensors can usually be tested by checking their resistance. The FSM will give the proper resistances for each.
  21. I have a JY part off a 4dr on my 2dr, exactly the same.
  22. Break the nuts loose while it is on the ground, then jack it up and remove them . DO NOT RELY ON THE JACK TO KEEP THE VEHICLE UP! Get something to block it up, a jack stand preferably, but something other than the jack while you are "under" it.
